Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The space was a bit tight for 10 people and the sofa beds were a bit noisy.
The location was really good and the way to access the apartments with codes was very convenient for our group.

We loved the location. Fantastic for families, with a big park 2 minutes away! Beautiful neighborhood, very quiet. Modern, clean building with washer and driers and a gym! Very responsive staff (one of the washing machines had an issue, and they quickly repaired it).

One of the apartments that we rented didn't have any toilet paper, and it took 24h to get some from the company, of course we had to go buy
Location was amazing!! you really have everything close by, apartments were also very nice and modern, very clean, building itself has facilities like laundry, a place to work, so overall quite happy, apartments are just a bit smaller to what you think from teh pictures, but in general very nice place to stay

It wasn't very clean and they said they would have provided toiletries, but the shower gel was nearly empty and not enough toilet paper and we had to buy it. Also, from the photos it looked way bigger.
The location was great. Nice flat.

Everything was great, only thing is that if you travel woth a baby and you ask for a travel cot then make sure you check it before using it as ours was not well assembled and it would collapse when the baby was in there. We also neede to buy bed sheets for the cot (they didn't supply it) so make sure you bring your own!
Super well equipped flat with balcony near Quevedo station and Plaza Olavide. We stayed with our baby and was great to be able to prepare meals at home.

The claim of wheelchair accessibility is not very accurate as the wheelchair cannot even go through the bathroom door.

I stayed for a week and a half in a very spacious apartment—excellent for one person or a couple, in my opinion. The balcony is enjoyable, and everything is well-equipped, clean, new, and pleasant. The building itself is secure, with a pleasant lobby floor for working. The location is excellent—just 5 minutes from the metro, providing easy access to anywhere in Madrid. The neighborhood is highly recommended, full of restaurants and bars, yet still quiet and safe.

sofa in the living room is not convenient, but bed in the bedroom is perfect.

I wore headphones to sleep because the city noise was very loud but I'm not used to being in a city
The Hotel was nice, clean with easy access. It was close to everything we needed. Great restaurants in the area. It's close the Metro as well.

We stayed 2 weeks, and they didn't clean it at least once or leave us a broom to clean the flat. Long stays might not be the best for this type of flat.

We stayed for 5 nights and there was no daily cleaning - towels and sheets were the same for all the days. Also nobody took out trash daily. The daily cleaning could be provided. Also, there is no space to leave luggage if you still have free time after check out. We would have paid for this service, maybe it can be offered in the future.
Perfect location! Apartment had everything you needed. Very comfortable beds. Apartment felt new and also bathroom was new. Safe building.
