We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. The room was clean, and they changed sheets and towels every day. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home. The location was excellent! If we ever return to Barcelona (and we definitely will), we'll definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

It was initially difficult to get access to the accommodation because it was located in a large building but staff were very helpful with guidance.

The location was right it the middle of the city making it very convenient. The accommodation was also very clean and had stunning architecture. The 2 ladies at reception was also very friendly and supportive to non Spanish speakers.

The place is calm, welcoming and clean. The room was very comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the room was quiet. The property has a nice decor and is well maintained. There is air conditioning, and hot water. Everything works well. The property has easy access through an elevator. All guests have to identify themselves through official documents which makes it safe for everyone.

The elevator has manual doors, which is a bit unsafe and does not work all the time if someone at other levels leave the door open. The other elevator is very small. But for an old house like this I can’t complain and it is good to even have an elevator.

Small room for a family of 4, but for couples it will be great. Being a Hostal in a historic building preserving its original architecture I can understand why the elevator was small, but the location in the heart of Passeig de Gracia more than compensated for this minor inconvenience. Thank you!

The rooms might be a little bit small because the property has been there since 1924, you might want to choose your room accordingly. We booked a standard room but we found it too small and the owners were so kimd enough to move us to a larger room.

The owner ladies are so great! They are very kind, friendly, helpful 🥰 the location is just great, very close to the high street, metro stations, cafes, tapas places etc

The location is really ideal with fantastic access to the metro lines, airport and buses. A lot of food and shopping within walking distance, and the neighbourhood feels safe. I appreciated the opportunity to stay in such an authentic and classic building. Although the building is old, I believe they have renovated the interior. The bathroom is better than some of the chain hotels I’ve stayed at. The single room is small but compact and has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Love the homely atmosphere and the owners are friendly. Do note that you have to leave your key when you go out and access is through ringing the bell but they respond super quickly and there is no time restriction.

The noise of running water as if it were getting flushed regularly somewhere around my room throughout most of the last night kept me awake.

Only thing was the elevator which is very small and sometimes did not work smoothly, so we had to climb all the way up to the fourth floor (actually it's like 8 floors)

This hotel has an excellent location from where you can walk to many places easily, such as subways, bus stops, resorts, shops and restaurants, etc. The room was very clean and nicely designed even though not spacious. The staffs working there were very nice and helpful.
