The check-in finish at 5 pm and i did'nt receive the instruction for automatic entry by Booking. Fortunately a very kind hotel employee came to our rescue and let us in.

I am a small person and but the shower was very small and hard to get into because of the way the doors opened. The pictures on the website show larger rounded door showers which would probably be a bit larger but this was a tiny square one.

I knew there would be a fridge in the room but was pleasantly surprised that there was also a kettle, microwave and dishes available in a common area. There are restaurants and grocery stores within minutes. The Royal Palace and Temple of Debod are within walking distance as are 3 metro stations. Note that if you want to see Museum in Madrid that they all close on Mondays so plan accordingly.

The corridor floor is made of wood and the rooms are poorly insulated, so at night you can hear all the noises of people coming in.

All OK. Excellent and strategic location. Clean, nice room, small but very cosy and comfortable. I did not need to use A/C as the room was perfectly warm. If I return to Madrid, I will choose this place.

The bathroom was very small for using the toilet...they need to make the vanity much smaller and turn the toilet 90 degrees so it faces the shower to make it more easy to use. The cleaning crew came into the apartment twice while I was gone even though the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door.

The apartment was reasonable sized for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom place. The kitchenet was just right and the place was easy to come and go from for touring Madrid.

Not much info how to get the keys (card) prior to arrival, the reception to collect the keys is open only few hours a day and is located in building opposite the hostel (across the street).

The location is excellent- very central but in a quiet street, plenty of caffes and restaurants nearby, close to 2 metro stations.

Front desk is only open a few hours a day. As a solo female traveler, I was initially concerned about possibly having a problem. But all went well

This booking was EXACTLY what I want in a budget lodging: clean, comfortable, convenient location. The street it is on is very quiet, but one block away are many restaurants, shops, flamenco theater. 3 blocks in either direction is a subway station.
