Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

If I have to pick something, probably the view because it’s just overlooking other apartments/balconies but it’s not a big deal. We’re here to see Barcelona anyways, not stare out of the hotel window

Didn’t see any fine print. There was no air conditioning in the room. System was turned off so had to keep the windows open which was unfortunate

Haven't checked, but sure the advert said room would have a mini bar but it didn't.
Staff were very helpful. Room insulation excellent, once in room rarely heard anything from other rooms.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from check-in to check-out and all in between. Can't beat the breakfast price for such a well-rounded assortment. The location was perfect for everything I wanted to do!

Beds perhaps a little hard.
Good quality 2 star hotel in excellent location. Sagrada familia, metro, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. The street outside is quite noisy but the double glazing completely eliminates the noise. Air con available. Great staff who humoured my attempts at speaking Spanish.

The WiFi was very slow. We relied on our mobile data mostly. The breakfast was just at the edge of adequate. Coffee was not so good. I can book again at this hotel, but I’d select the option without breakfast. There are many cafes around.
The location is very close to the metro stations and in walking distance to Sagrada Familia. The rooms were big and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were functional sanitation dispensers everywhere.

Not to be a moaner but I want to mention that there is no refrigerator in the single room we stayed. Not a big deal at all but some people may skip over that detail while making a booking.
The hotel offers a great value for the price they offer. We stayed at a single room for two and it was all we needed to have great stay in Barcelona. The hotel location is excellent - 10min walking distance from Sagrada Familia, 20 or so from the main city beach and 2 mins away from Monumental metro station on L2. Nearby you can also find a Lidl, Aldi and Sorlinam supermarkets as well as smaller grocery shops and bakeries. The hotel's staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a fantastic time in the city and our stay in Acta Antibes was certainly worth it!

The Wi-Fi was very slow and I had a hard time. I did a little work, so every time the Wi-Fi went out, I couldn't proceed, which was a bit of a problem. Breakfast was a bit modest considering the hotel's rating. I don't eat so much in the morning, but I thought it would be nice to have a few more side dishes. For example, it would be better to have scrambled eggs, fried eggs, and a cappuccino. That's not to say it was bad, it was delicious.
The location was excellent. I was able to go to Sagrada Familia within walking distance, and the underground took less than 5 minutes. The room was also clean and very comfortable.

The breakfast is not great; there are not many food options. The breakfast space is small and we had to wait approx 10 mins until a table was made available.
The hotel is close to Sagrada Familia. It is really easy to get to the main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable.

The only down side is the room we got has window with no view. Nothing but walls of adjacent buildings.
Very good location close to many attractions. Nice and friendly staffs. Bedroom and bathroom have plenty space and not cramped. Very good room for value.
