Not much to dislike, we got the stay we expected on this trip.

This hotel was good value for money and much better than expected. We were comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is a bit further out from the main city but it was really easy to get the metro (20/30 mins) or bus so didn't make too much of a difference for us.

The parking fee is not included in the price, and the access to it is not easy. Internet connection is not so fast, especially during the mobile world congress this is something to improve.

The hotel is in the center of Santa Coloma. It is convenient for a night to stop and keep driving but not for tourism, since it is far from the center of Barcelona. It has parking and a restaurant/bar for you to snak and have breakfast.

The water flow from the shower was weak and the shower fittings were loose. As a Russian I like to be warm at night in bed and for me the room was cold. There weren't enough blankets and the hot air conditioning wasn't hot. However, as I mentioned earlier extra blankets were available on request.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even to the extent of giving me one extra blanket at night as I was feeling a bit chilly. The room exceeded my expectations of a 2 star hotel and the surrounding area was quiet. There was a range of supermarkets within just a walking distance, for example, Consum.

The only disadvantage was the distance to the center of the city. If the hotel was closer, it would have been the perfect accommodation. The neighborhood was calm, there was a nice playground near it, and a supermarket and some cafeterias 5 minutes away. The metro station is in 8-10 minutes and you get to Plaça Catalonia in about 30 minutes. The airport (El Prat) is 1 hour away.

The room was wide enough, very clean. The staff in the reception (especially Miguel) was very nice and helpful. We were able to check in earlier, which was great and to leave our luggage in a special storage room after checking out. The breakfast was sufficient.

There were some combo offers advertised for the bar for during the evening time. It is displayed in the reception, the lifts and everywhere in the hotel. We asked for it all the 3 days during our stay and they mentioned different reasons to not offer that. We found this behavior very strange and for an ibis this is very inconsistent. Seems like staff were making reasons to not offer and that was unacceptable.

It was mostly clean, facilities as expected for a budget 2 star hotel. Breakfast menu was the same everyday and very basic. Location little in the corner of the city, not many dining options during the night. There are few supermarkets near by.

The easy access off the freeway and the easy access to downtown Barcelona by metro. The property was clean and the hotel restaurant was pretty good too. The rooms were spacious.

When we checked in the rooms and entered into the room the floor was dirty, its winter and there is no blanket in the room. I had to go downstairs to get blanket and they gave us tiny bedsheets. They said they have room heaters but it never worked.
