Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Fabulous welcome at a rural, converted mill. The room was large and comfortable, and the powerful shower/bath eased aching muscles. Our hostess provided us with a delicious 3-course dinner with wine and coffee. Quite perfect!

SpainJust a very minor thing: the internet connection was slow.
Everything! - Friendly hosts - Beautiful house and garden - Delicious homemade breakfast - Very clean rooms - Quiet and peaceful. You only hear the relaxing sound of a stream that was part of the old mill. - Large private Parking area - A few minutes away from Burgos (by car)

United KingdomThe Wi-Fi would benefit from a boosting system, the signal was very weak in our room, but this was not enough to be a major negative affecting our stay.
The only small negative was our difficulty in finding the location, it is important to follow precisely the owners guidance and instructions. The positives were numerous, but can be summed up by saying that the impressive property is attentively and sympathetically maintained to a high and tasteful standard. Our host and owner, Iciar, was outstandingly welcoming, and ensured that every detail of our stay was relaxing and comfortable. She is also a good cook, and produced a fabulous freshly cooked supper on the evening of our arrival. If we are travelling the same route again, we will definitely stay again. Thank you Iciar.

United KingdomThe property was delightful. We were greeted warmly and shown around an exceptional house and garden with lots of history. Considering the main guest area (dining and relaxing leather furniture, open log fires) was high vaulted ceilings the whole building was warm. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable with quality bedding quilt. The breakfast and evening meal was very good and of mainly of locally and their own produce. My request for a vegetarian meal for my wife was well catered for. Attention to detail was everywhere. My wife noticed our room and main areas were spotlessly clean. Possibly one of the best places we have stayed anywhere – some at considerably higher prices. We would definitely recommend Molino De La Vega and we will definitely stay again. A minor point - Molino De La Vega is in a rural location with no other buildings around but a blind in the bathroomokease

United States of AmericaBeautiful B&B in a secluded area of the country side. Wonderful area to take walks and visit surrounding towns. Burgos a quick 15 minutes drive. The hosts, Iciar and Guillermo, were welcoming and helpful in every way possible. We had one meal prepared at the hotel, very delicious and healthy. They were able to provide us with a great cheese plate and bottle of Champagne at the last minute for a celebration on our last night of our vacation. The rooms were spotless and well furnished and the house itself was spacious and comfortable. As Iciar speaks English, it was wonderful to talk to her about the house and surroundings. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

United KingdomAll good.
Excellent small family run hotel just 10 minutes from Burgos centre. Very warm welcome from host and lovely small hotel on site of former Mill. Exceptionally quiet location, secure on site car parking, very comfortable and well equipped bedroom with en suite (and bath!) . Good breakfast and dinner available if pre-booked. A great place with a difference for an overnight stop. Very glad to have found it.

United KingdomDownside, which may be covid related, the only way to get a drink in the evening was to go across yard to the owners house and ask they said they didn't mind but it seemed a real inconvenience and would have preferred somewhere in the b&b itself even maybe an honesty box system or something.
location was really good rural but just 15 minutes from Burgos.Nice open air swimming pool less than 5 minutes away. Really nice owners very friendly and helpful despite language barrier!Breakfast was really good as was the evening meal which despite one of us being vegetarian they provided a very nice spread, which they conjured up after first two options were rejected excellent service.Rooms were beautiful and everywhere spotlessly clean with a nice garden to sit out in.

United KingdomWhat didn't we like? absolutely nothing. The only minor improvement I can think of would be facilities to make a cup of tea in our room.
Absolutely stunning place - a beautifully restored water mill originally built in the 11th century. So wonderfully quiet and peaceful, and yet within easy reach of Burgos and less than 2 hours from Bilbao and Santander. Iciar looked after us as though we were family - our home-cooked dinner was utterly delicious, as was breakfast. A great feature was water drawn from their own well, provided free in one of the communal lounges. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and tranquil; the only sounds were birdsong and running water from the mill stream.
