Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyBreakfast could be improved, it was very basic.
The hotel is very well located, and was able to accommodate a family of 4 in one room. They also helped us store our luggage after check out since we had a late train ride.

United StatesNo parking but we knew that. Because of all the one way streets parking to hotel is about 5 euros. Hotel to parking is 10 euros . However the Palace was beautiful close to everything. Had a delicious dinner nearby. Great view of the Alhambra from our balcony. Nice breakfast.

South AfricaA beautiful old building that transports you back into the opulence of historical Granada. The staff were super, the location perfect - within walking distance to shops, restaurants and other amenities. We arrived by car and the only reason I didn't give it a "10" was that it advertised that parking was available but didn't explain that this facility was a public parking garage 5 minutes away by taxi.

United KingdomOnly the mattress/bed could have been slightly better, I think it was a bit shakey, it would need a quick check.
Beautiful hotel and location, the building and the decor were exquisite! The location could not be better, the staff was very friendly and very professional. The room was very nice and spacious! The breakfast was lovely, especially the tortilla and the home-made cakes! I would totally recommend this hotel, it's a great base to explore beautiful Granada!

ChinaChildren's beds are very soft. The glass door in the restroom can't shield the water from the shower. There is a lot of water on the floor around the toilet after shower.
Good Location near Alhambra Palace .By walking only 10 minutes, going up along the small street by the bus stop. There are many restaurants around. A taxi stand by the plaza just near the hotel. The hotel is an old-fashioned building. Breakfast is good with enough choice. Our room is just beside the small alley by a small river. A little noisy when people walking by, but the windows are very good of soundproof. Parking is not available around, but you can take taxi to the hotel after parking the car in public parking place, and take taxi by the nearby plaza to get your car after checking out. The first taxi voucher is paid by hotel.

United KingdomNothing!
The hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect for visiting the Alhambra Palace. After a day walking the jacuzzi bath was just what I needed! We also took a short bus ride to Sacromonte and visited the cave houses and museum where the gypsies lived and learnt the history of the area. We would love to come back and visit in the evening to experience the flamenca shows in the caves. The hotel was close to bars and restaurants.
