Evening manager named Nazim was extremely unhelpful when we discovered we hadn’t been given the room with the facilities I’d payed for on booking.com, we requested the room we’d paid for after finding out that there are rooms like that available & Nazim told me I’d have to pay an additional €200 for an upgrade as it is a problem of booking.com & not the hotels. I hated the fact that for 4 days out of the 7, the cleaners never changed the bedding, only made the beds. We knew this because we had a couple stains on the sheets & even some sand in our beds from the beach we’d visited on day one. The cleaners also never swept the floor or polished anything. When we caught them visit on day 4, we requested our beds to be changed, waited & watched them change them. There were only 1 plug socket in the bedroom which was rather inconvenient when you’ve paid for a ‘family room’ you’d expect more. The concept of having one key card were rather annoying & made things difficult for our group of 3 due to us wanting to go off and do separate things sometimes. Someone who may of been in bed always had to wake up to let us back in otherwise the electric would have gone off.

The man in the market shop was extremely nice, accommodating and helpful. Had great people skills.

Dogs allowed but not specifically mentioned on booking.com. Family has allergies so not ideal. Walls paper thin. Overheard several loud booze fuelled arguments late at night. Rooms situated on narrow corridors. Little one hit his head on the wall mounted water hose on the first night, lack of space. Entertainment too repetitive and doesn’t appeal to all audiences. Pool limited for families either too shallow, just right but small area or far too deep for novice family swimmers. Situated on a steep hill. Not ideal if you have mobility issues. Taxi service is good if needed. Approx 15mins walk to beach/shops. Bus services (1,11,2,10) can be found in this area, cheap way to access lots of locations. Gym poorly equipped. Machines broken or inadequate. Hotel Requests not to use balcony but doesn’t provide airing facilities.

Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast well organised and good selection. Kids football pitch next to outdoor evening seating. Great entertainment for youngsters not interested in the disco/ dancing entertainment provided. Plenty of pool space and loungers. Good mix of nationalities.

The food was rubbish, the dining waS in utter chaos it seemed like they didnt know what thry was doing. My opinión they need woman servers, the men didnt have a clue.

Staff were quite rude. No shower gel, soap or shampoo in the rooms. Lifts are super old and slow. Reception queues are very long. We paid for a late check out but the key cards didn't work (twice) and then when they did the air con and electricity didn't work.

The room keys didn’t work we spent half of the time queuing at reception to get them activated. When we got to the rooms were not cleaned, had no towels and no toiletries at all.

Very noisy at night time could not sleep. Tried to call reception to complain no answer. Complain to the staff the next day and it still happen the following night. Hotel very noisy impossible to sleep.

Very friendly staff and ample size rooms for a weekend stay. The staff were also very accommodating for our late flight and allowed us to leave luggage and continue using the facilities. Would definitely recommend.

I would like to express my disappointment with the behaviour of one of the lifeguards on duty. On 07.05.23, I encountered an incident where the lifeguard was rude and unprofessional towards myself and my friend. The lifeguard's attitude was disrespectful and left us feeling uncomfortable during our time by the pool area. I believe that such behaviour is not reflective of the high standards that I have come to expect from Hotel Benidorm East. Additionally, during our relaxation time by the sunbeds, we were surprised to find the lifeguard placed a dirty plate, belonging to another guest, on my sunbed, whilst I was lying on it. This occurrence was perplexing, as there was no explanation provided. When I asked the lifeguard why he's given me a strangers dirty plate, his response was "this is good for you, trust me." and then ran away and didn't return. Unfortunately, I had to pick up the dirty plate myself and move it elsewhere, which I do not expect to have to do as a guest, especially with the plate not belonging to me or my friend.
