There is no bellman. The front desk, if available, can you help with your luggage. There is also no reserved space for loading/unloading. We found contractor vans and other cars in that location and had to wait quite a bit. The furnishings are fairly attractive to look at, but most of it is pretty cheap feeling.

The breakfast buffet was very good as long as you didn't show up late, as they put things away quickly. The windows in the room open for fresh air. There are two elevators that worked well. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. Retiro is right across the street and there are a ton of quality restaurants within walking distance. We found a good deal so the value was okay.

I didn't like the price for the breakfast. Perhaps it is appropriate for someone who eats a lot, but I generally need just a cup of coffee and perhaps something small. The price seemed steep for this. So I had to walk around and look for breakfast somewhere else.

The exterior of the hotel is beautiful but the interior definitely needs renovation. The bathrooms are relatively renovated but the furnitures and bathroom old fashioned.

This is not my first time in Madrid so I chose this location on purpose. The location and the neighborhood are great, it's a quality street. Not far from the center either. Stuff is very helpful. The breakfast is very rich.

There should have been an armchair in the room, otherwise, there is nothing to sit on, except for the bed and a chair by the desk. Some sort of lock/latch on a bathroom door would be welcome too

Excellent breakfast, good shower, very easy to manage A/C and park view from the room. Easy to manage a safe box, just remember to use your bankcard, not the room card. It really does make you feel secure when you need to keep your documents safe. Elevators are fast and reliable but try a staircase from the top floors at least once. You'll enjoy it.

Front desk staff could be more professional. Gentlemen who checked us in was wearing a white undershift while working. Room decor is dated as well as the bathroom. Rooms in need of remodeling.

I went in April and the AC is not on, so basically you need to sleep with the windows open, and curtains open so the breeze can come into the room. so you hear noises and the sun wakes you up. I wish there was the option of turning on the A/C. That would have made this stay 10/10.

Proximity to the beautiful park, Museo del Prado, Reina Sofia, Gran Via, and Plaza Cibeles (for AirPort Express bus or bus tours), made this an ideal location. And a very good price for the quality of venue.

The decor at the hotel is somewhat style over comfort - the grey/black/white colour scheme is not to our liking. The shower tray was very slippery - dangerous - but no bathmats were offered. Also, there was only one comfortable armchair in the room for two people - the other two items (the plastic chair and the stool) were not comfortable to use, certainly not at our age:).

Excellent location - a walking distance from many important tourist sites. Good breakfast - sufficient variety of foods, good quality fresh bread, fruit, cheeses, etc. Pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and great light blocking curtains ensured a good night sleep. Helpful and pleasant staff.
