Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe had some issues with our drains which was sorted by the maintenance team very quickly, however they did leave a mess and somehow our floor didn't get cleaned of dirty water for 5 hours and 3 calls to reception. We would also have liked a bit more information at check in - we weren't directed to the QR code for the app and so didn't know what was going on until day 2 - once we had that though it was very easy to know what was on each day. There is still some maintenance going on but it didn't bother us.
The Animation Team were amazing - so full of energy and welcoming to both adults and children. We loved the morning and afternoon dance and sing along. The team really made our stay memorable especially Paula and Jesus. We missed Paula on her days off 😘 The pool area was great, being there with 2 children, I was able to see them from most areas and felt that they were safe in the complex. The different pool options meant we could choose somewhere different to relax each day and sunbeds were always available somewhere. The range of activities for adults and children meant we were never bored. The availability and abundance of food meant we were never hungry and always found something we liked. Staff in all areas were friendly, helpful and seemed happy. It was easy to pop down to Amadores beach by taxi at €4 each way and was a nice afternoon out. The evening entertainment was of a great standard with a variety of shows and quiz nights. We especially loved the Michael Jackson tribute evening put on by the Animation team. My daughter loved the mini disco with Bubbly each night too. The hotel was easy to navigate around and lifts worked well. The hotel was very accommodating when we arrived early and left after check out. We were able to use all the facilities and have food and drinks, getting showered and changed at the change rooms in the lobby before leaving for the airport.

United KingdomDinner times were so loud with so many children. Plus music and activities around main pools were very intrusive. The infinity pool filled with kids. They have plenty of pools, it should be adults only as we couldn’t get beds in the adult area. No adult only bar. You could easily put one in at reception level and make it adults only in evenings. There was nowhere, as a couple, to go for a quiet drink.
Very clean, our junior suite was very good. Staff were all very friendly. Adults only area good when you could get a bed

LuxembourgThis is a hotel is wonderful for families with children but not so suitable for guests without little ones! The self service buffet is very noisy and busy as you would expect and the food is OK but not really a pleasant dining experience! The hotel is up a hill so a trek to the beach unless you take a taxi which are very reasonably priced.
We had a junior suite which was large and comfortable. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful.

United KingdomThe fact you had your beer served in such a small glass and that there was not enough bars beer pumps around such a huge hotel.. The food being repetitive
The hotel was great some of the staff were very friendly others not so friendly. We went all inclusive which I would not do again as the food was very repetitive, snack bar was great for children but again same thing every day... The drinks in the all inclusive were very disappointing the beer was served in small glasses so you were running to the bar alot, all inclusive cocktails were rubbish already mixed... Local spirits were not bad but we are beer drinkers so we spent alot of time queuing at bar... Animation team around the pool were great getting everyone involved in all activities.. The only let down was the entertainment at night it went over at 10 which is a little to early for some people.. Maybe if there was some adult entertainment after 10maybe disco background music it would make a difference.. Overall we enjoyed our stay but found ourselves eating out 3 times in the week and buying cans of beer for our room as bar was so far from room

United Kingdom- Room sizes were smaller than anticipated, though well-equipped and clean. - Limited entertainment options in the bedroom with no TV and no ability to mirror devices. - Reception and some staff could be more welcoming and helpful. - Potential noise and overwhelming atmosphere for couples. - Ongoing construction and confusion regarding room locations. - Lack of water machines near distant rooms. - No late checkout and no assistance with luggage to and from rooms. - Slightly slippery floors in main pool areas. - Suggestions for improvement include a better fruit selection for breakfast and improved dessert options. - Challenges with car rental booking and limited availability. - Limited food options after 9.30 pm due to the all inclusive hours closing and the shop/spar next door closing at 8pm - The hotel's elevated location, while offering great views, may be challenging for families with small children. - Faulty kettle and non-ideal sofa bed in the room.
The hotel's cleanliness and modern aesthetic were impressive. The potential for it to become a 5-star hotel is evident. The views from the balcony and the hydrotherapy pool area were breathtaking. The gym offered good equipment with an amazing view. Child-friendly environment with a variety of games facilities. The hydrotherapy pool area was a highlight, despite the need for slightly warmer temperatures. The rooftop area provided a peaceful escape from the bustling main pool. Accommodating waitstaff and availability of food throughout the day were appreciated. The New Year's celebration with a champagne reception and entertainment was enjoyable. Convenient location with a nearby supermarket and a pleasant 45-minute drive from the airport. Room cleaning was consistent, but be sure to put a not to disturb sign up if you don't want them entering your room in the morning without knocking Overall, the Servatur Puerto Azul Hotel has great potential with ongoing improvements, especially with the addition of the spa area. While there are areas for enhancement, your stay was enjoyable, and the hotel offers a promising experience with stunning views and various amenities. I'm not in a rush to go back, but I definitely enjoyed my stay.

United KingdomThere’s nothing not to like except the walls were thin to the point I could hear someone snoring in the room next door so anything louder than that we could definitely hear
The adults only pool section was heaven. Could have just done with a drinks station so we didn’t have to go all the way to the restaurant for drinks. The views were out of this world. Reception smelled amazing & all staff were lovely

DenmarkThe laundry is a joke, only two machines and you need to buy tidepods separately. The SPA wasn’t open (dec’23), though advertised. The soundproofing does not exist.
The pools are really heated (at least one is 100% heated). Food options are great, just skip lunch. The hotel is renovated and looks fresh. Gym is very decent.

Nice, newly renovated hotel, with great pools. Breakfast first few days okay, after becomes boring why repeated all the time, as well as dinner. House keeping/room cleaning should be little better - towels change for example. Adults only part - total match! Great relaxing zone totally.

This place is amazing. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave they can’t do enough for you. The standard of the refurb is top class and total luxury. The reception staff are all fantastic. The animation team work so hard to include everyone and bearing in mind the hotel has just reopened and it’s not near capacity their enthusiasm is infectious. The rooms are lovely and have been finished to a really high standard air con in bedroom and livingroom. The food was brilliant something we thought for everyone. We thought the snack bar was actually the lunch big shout out for the meatballs. Would highly recommend this hotel Amazing stay.
