The only thing I didn't enjoy much was the buffet style breakfast but if you like a continental breakfast you won't have any problem with it.

Excellent price - much cheaper than the other hotels in the area. Beautiful bedroom, clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The best bit was the location, 5 minutes slow walk to the stunning golden sandy beach and public transport. It was quiet in the hotel at night and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. Santander is a great place to visit, so much more to do than we realised. Would highly recommend.

It was really good Suite, nice and clean. It was not far from the beach and city centre. The didn’t have parking but you can park outside for free. The breakfast was not what expected. I don’t know is that something Spanish or not, but they didn’t had eggs and everything was sweet except coffee it was bitter.

That despite what the reviews said, there was nowhere to park at the property. We managed to find a park on the street some way away which was lucky but it was raining all day & night and there was a steep walk up to the property which meant 2 trips from the car with the luggage. The room itself was not as big as we expected

We arrived at our check in time (3pm as requested) although only the cleaning lady was available to help us. She was very helpful despite the language barrier. We were able to check in, have a cup of tea & chill. Breakfast was included & excellent. The Receptionist was very helpful when he arrived. Our room was clean & comfortable & the bathroom had all we required plus some extra toiletries The beach was a 5-10 minute walk away with 2 supermarkets nearby and restaurants/cafes

The walls of the adjacent rooms arent very thick so you hear everything. Unfortunately we had extremely noisy neighbours on our last night who were listening to music and talking very loudly until 4am, which would not have mattered if the room was a bit more soundproof. The windows aren't very soundproof either, however there is not that much traffic on the street so it's alright. The light that gets into the room during the morning so I would definitely recommend bringing a sleeping mask and earplugs if you are sensitive to noises and light.

Room was small but very nice and had everything we needed. The bed was a bit hard but it was alright overall. Having two different pillows to choose from was also very nice. Breakfast had all the essentials and leftover croissants and muffins could be snacked on throughout the day. The staff was very friendly and the self check-in since we arrived late at night worked seamlessly.

The breakfast experience. I had camomile tea and a yoghurt. Then I made a ham and cheese sandwich which I didn't feel able to eat so I wrapped it in a tissue to take it with me. I was scolded by the person on the front desk in English (He assumed I was English speaking) who pointed to a sign which I hadn't seen about not taking food out of the room. He also assumed that I had seen the sign and that I was lying. He assumed my intention was to rob food rather than finish my breakfast later in the car on my way to Madrid. I found his attitude offensive. My family owns a hotel in Scotland and the food is there for guests to help themselves. I was also recently in Porto and the hotel there suggested we take food away. (We didn't) I have travelled all over the world and widely in Spain with groups of students. (I teach at university.) I feel the actions of this person were mean and rude.

The receptionist when I arrived was extremely helpful and friendly. (She gave me a map, showed me where I could take buses to the centre of town. The room was clean and quiet. The shower was amazing. and everything was clean and tidy.

Wasn’t sure where to put my suitcase so kept it under the sink. Free parking in the street was great and easy as we arrived in the early afternoon. Not sure how close we would’ve got if we’d arrived later.

Although the lady didn’t speak any English we managed well with her online translator and had a bit of a laugh with it! Loved the individuality of the rooms. Would book a larger one in future. An excellent stopover for the ferry.
