Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is nowhere to sit in the lobby. The rooms were very small though totally functional. The shower was very slippery and there were no bath mats.
Good location and very clean. Also tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit small but the bathroom was big. There wasn’t great storage so if you’re staying with a bunch of luggage you may have some trouble. Definitely enough space for small bags
Really cute boutique hotel. The morning coffee and muffin on the terrace was nice. We also enjoyed the terrace later in the day.

The room is very small, so much that the sink is in the room instead of bathroom
Location is great. Staff is super helpful. The rooms are clean.

There was never enough toilet paper, the elevator was dangerous and didn’t always line up (once it dropped), and it was quite expensive.
For as much as we paid for night, there should have been a more substantial breakfast provided.

Watered down shampoo and conditioner nearly unusable, noise insulation not great, lack of furniture or decorations despite booking the "better" room. Therefore, it felt like the price was a bit high for what we received in the end.
Great location, lovely staff, good shower, very nice common areas. Would stay again.

A strong smell of food cooking came in through the bedroom window in the evening, until gone 22:00.
Great system for leaving bags when arriving pre-check in, with a spacious locker and access to a bathroom. Room was compact, but had everything I needed. Nice decor and lovely terrace/lounge area.

I wouldn’t say I disliked it, it was real sweet but the outlook from the balcony was overlooking other people’s units.
This property was so cute and in such a nice locations with many lovely restaurants around!

Couple times key card didn't work
Everything was fine, maybe the room is a bit small, but cozy and cleaned every day. Coffee and muffins for breakfast were very delicious. The location is really good.

The sound insulation of the hotel is not good, and in the morning it is very clear to hear someone talking in the corridor

While booking, I needed to fill my credit card details. After awhile I got message trough booking.com that sounded like phising. They wanted my credit card details again for confirming the reservation. I contacted the hotel and they basicly said to me to go somewhere else if I don't like their policy. Ofcourse they did not offer me free cancellation as I would have taken it. Just before my arrival they did ask credit card details again, to pay my visit.
Location perfect. Smalls 24h shops near and bigger grocery store in the same block. Short walking distance to the city and subway nearby. Room was good size and clean. I had balcony, which was super with garden view.

I did laundry, which consisted of 1 pair of jeans, a T-shirt, and underwear, and it cost the same price as buying new. Absolutely insane

We liked everything..no complaints.
The economy room was just perfect for us couple, the bed and pillow were very comfortable and the bathroom also very neat. The interiors with paintings and wall paper was also soothing. The book wall behind the reception already won me over the moment we entered the hotel. And also the cute terrace at the backside. Offering free coffee and muffins in the morning was indeed a sweet gesture. We would definitely come back.

The was no cable channels no Netflix.
Good location close to main points. It was good to have coffee in the mornings. Staff very kind and gave helpful advices. Something great was the locker service it was really helpful.
