Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainFor the price asked for the room and the 4-star category of the hotel, the user experience they offer is somewhat poor. There are hardly any products offered in the bathroom, the decoration of both the room and the common areas detracts from the beauty of the building.
The location is excellent, the hotel is clean and the breakfast is amazing.

FranceUnfortunately we arrived on June 20 which is a local holiday so the hotel's restaurant was closed as were many of the eateries in town. No reflection on the hotel of course but we should have done our homework in advance.
Set close to the centre of Blasones the location is great for exploring the town on foot. The amazing cathedral is a short walk away and a must to visit. The underground private car park is not big so book ahead. Getting there is interesting as you have to enter a pedestrianised area then navigate to the hotel via one way streets. Breakfast was very good.

United KingdomWould have been good to have been warned that our deluxe suite included an internal staircase. Would have liked chopped fruit at breakfast, whole fruits and slices were available. Hotel parking was quite a bit more expensive than the twelve other hotels on our trip.
Location excellent, easy access to restaurants, shops, culture, clear instructions of how to drive up to the hotel given in advance. Great to be greeted at entrance to car park and be told where to park. Good access to hotel from there. Staff gave useful advice on places to eat and visit during including where we could purchase a particular gin. Deluxe suite was very spacious and well furnished. Bed comfortable, bathroom ok. Lovely view of cathedral from window. Breakfast in lovely internal covered courtyard, good selection well laid out, more quickly provided when stocks getting low. Delicious yogurt!

JapanSome of the stuffs were not friendly at all and not helpful for our request. The room had limited equipment (only 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 teabags for 2 nights stay, and not filled). Buffet breakfast was ok, but needs some improvement in terms of variety of items.
Very good location and easy to explore the city. Clean room.

United KingdomCar park was a nightmare to find, went around the system at least 5 times, had to abandon the car and walk to the hotel for the staff to explain that you have to drive through the pedestrian areas, this should be advised when booking to save the stress of trying to find it!
Great location to walk to restaurants and sightseeing.

United KingdomBreakfast was fine - but would have expected a bit better quality of food for this standard of hotel.
The double room with living area was really spacious, much more than average. Friendly & very helpful staff. Quiet location but just a few minutes walk to the cathedral and restaurants.

CanadaWe recently stayed at this charming 4-star hotel in Burgos and was pleasantly surprised! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to explore historical sites and local eateries. The hotel even offers convenient parking, a rare find in the bustling city center. Breakfast is delightful and varied. With its comfortable rooms and friendly service, this hotel truly combines convenience with a touch of charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Burgos!

United StatesI asked to be on the first floor. I was on the 3rd floor and the reason was a celebration of New Year organized by the hotel and not be disturbed by the noise (a nice thought!). However, as a hotel guest I could not register for the diner and no room service was available. Knowing that the restaurants are usually closed on January 1st or on reservation only, the hotel could have had a little more consideration for his guests. The staff was not very helping or sympathetic. I spent alone the most awful New Year of my life. I travel 4 months a year and that was the worst hotel I have stayed in.
THE localization is good, most of the churches are at walking distance and the cathedral is 5 minutes away. The room was spacious..

United StatesFinding the place was impossible on our own. We drove for 1.5 hours and finally in desperation, using Whatapp, were able to connect with an attendant who served as our human GPS to the hotel. In fairness, an e-mail had been sent to us instructing us to find the Pedestrian Zone, use the intercom to speak with staff who would then lower the pivot. We never found the Pedestrian Zone (it looked like a sidewalk one wouldn't drive on). Once connected to the attendant, she was sympathetic and helpful as we drove through the town behind the pivot (a piston which recedes into the pavement once the access is granted) which was full of street side cafes and shops. Very confusing! Then the parking was a nightmare. It was essentially like parking in storage unit. Very tight. Only for "Smart cars." We scratched ours.
The suite was spacious. See below for "What didn't you like" and know that the attendant/desk clerk sympathized with the confusion of finding this place and stated the location and procedure for access has been appealed to the town without a resolution for making access to the hotel easier.
