The pathways were typical Canarian design style but this. meant they were very uneven, resulting in my friend falling and being in crutches for the whole of our stay.

The reception area was impressive. Loved the pools and sun bathing areas being spread about.

- WiFi wasn't the fastest - I was only getting between 0.8 and 2.0 Mbps in the room, but at least it was constantly connected and didn't disconnect due to a weak signal (which has happened in other hotels and then subjects me to a roaming charge if I haven't noticed). - The room interior could use a fresh lick of paint. - Even the heated pools were a little cold at this time of year (early March, about 27 degrees celsius).

- The staff were amazing, very polite, courteous and helpful. - Excellent room service. The room was tidied immaculately every morning. - The event staff were great, and there were a number of good events to choose from both during the day and in the evenings (e.g. yoga, pilates, wine tasting, architecture tour of the hotel and paella masterclass in the daytime, concerts in the evenings) - Management came out to greet and speak to the guests on one evening, which was a nice touch and shows confidence in the resort they have built. - Good selection to choose from at breakfast - a mixture of hot and cold food, and included mimosas and bellinis. Food was of a good quality, including lunch (we didn't eat dinner in the hotel so I can't comment on that). - Lots of free car parking, both underground and on the street. - The architecture of the hotel is unique, with each area representing a landmark in Lanzarote (the main reception is under a recreation of the Timanfaya volcano). - Adults-only area available with a separate rooftop sunbathing plaza and pool, and separate restaurant. We didn't stay here as we came during school time, but I can see it being handy for adults during school holidays.

The welcome - initially placed in very poor room with block wall as view by very unsmiling Reception staff who was teaching a new member. Surly attitude. The rest of the staff were nice.

breakfast was good but as vegetarians, we struggled sometimes to find options (why put bacon in with the mushrooms, and the only toasties on offer were cheese and ham! We didn't have dinner any night because at 25 Euros pp it wasn't good value for us. There were not enough vegetarian choices. It would have been good if the big pool was heated

It was my daughter's birthday during our stay and the staff made sure she was made to feel special. The location was excellent, a short walk to restaurants and the beach. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and did what they said they would. Our room was lovely - spacious with a sea view

I would love it if there was British bacon and sausage at breakfast, and more comfortable sun beds. The tauteness has gone on some of the sun beds and the strut across the middle section is really uncomfortable.

Great choice at breakfast. Charming room. Love the chapel, the waterfall, pretty much everything. This is our 5th return visit. It’s just so beautiful. Already planning next visit.

The bed was much to hard for my wife and I, When the hotel start to upgrade the rooms can I suggest that the bath/showers are replaced with walk in showers as most of the guests were over 60, hard as you get older getting in and out of a bath to take a shower. Everything else was very good !!!!!

Nice location right next to the marina which had a number of very good restaurants. Very pleased with the size and position of the room. Breakfast busy busy busy, but large selection of things to eat!!!

The bathroom needed urgent maintenance and facelift. The shower was so old that it did not function easily. The bathroom level was poor 3 star level.

The staff in reception and breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Zoran in reception was doing really excellent job. Also our cleaning lady was always so happy and helpful.

I stayed in a room with extension door into adjacent room, this door was not fully soundproofed and I was conscious about not making excess noise. The circulation fan on bedroom ceiling needs some oil. Glass shutter over the bath was not sealed properly, so I had to mop up a lot of water from bathroom and corridor floors after each shower. Double bed was in fact two singles pushed together, both fitted with single size bedlinen, which i felt didn’t do justice to the good quality and huge size of the room.

I had a very nice stay at the hotel. Very comfortable rooms, great breakfast selection and ample free parking space in garage and street. Short walk to Shopping Centre and Marina Restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Entire resort is very clean, including room.
