The fridge was tiny and so useless as it didn't fit a normal sized wine bottle and no ice tray or anywhere to make ice. It was an unusual heatwave but with no air conditioning and the windows that couldn't be opened for any breeze to cool down it wasn't nice.

The lift as it was 95 steps up to our room! Cleanliness. Good sized bathroom and bedroom. Windows blocked out all street sound when closed. Curtains were good at blocking out sun. Big tv. Mattaeo (sp?) was a great Receptionist and nothing was a drama and he helped us with everything we needed with a happy disposition.

Great location. Good size room, very spacious and clean. Kettle provided. Very warm (August) but fan provided. Street noise but was fine once windows were closed. Screen sharing on the TV a plus. Staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend and return.

The elevator was rather small and slow and the hotel rooms were all located on the higher floors.

Some of the spaces in the room and the bathroom felt very tight and it felt like I had to squeeze through at times.

Location is perfect, all main areas to discover within walking distance. Reception staff are all friendly and helpful. The room is minimalistic and cozy at the same time. All you need to have a lovely stay in Helsinki.

No air conditioning! Windows only opened a little, it was torture except for small fan I found on desk. I know it's rare but wish they had air conditioning for hot summers!

Best possible location near station and easy walk to ferry port!! Great bars and restaurants on same street and near main boulevard!! Bed super comfortable. Small fan provided, otherwise I would have died as it was very hot week! And floor was heated, I managed to turn it off. Id sts again for location!! And nar downstairs was fantastic too.

Top location and was so easy to jump on the tram from the ferry terminal and just had to walk around 100m from the tram stop to the hotel. Very clean little room in perfect walking distance to the attractions and also to the tram stop. Very helpful staff and great value for money.

It seems that air conditioning might be something to consider here as well. We stayed during quite hot weather, and it was very difficult to sleep. There are several great bars located right next to the hotel that stay open late and can be quite noisy. Closing the windows helps a lot with the noise, but in the heat, you're left choosing between struggling to sleep due to the noise or trying to rest in silence but with uncomfortable heat.

Excellent location right in the city center. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. Although the building is quite old, the rooms were clean and pleasant.

There is a weird smell (perhaps from the drain?) in the bathroom from time to time but since I didn't stay in the room all the time and the smell was confined to the bathroom, it was not that bad for a short stay. But it would be great if that could be dealt with. Other than this minor issue, everything is excellent. The bathroom was indeed clean.

The location is excellent. It is close to the train station and all the major sights within a short walking distance. There are also plenty of choices for dining nearby. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room has everything one needs.

Our room was for three people, so it’s a little cramped. But that’s not the fault of the hotel. I felt sorry for the staff because they had to work in dark, cramped spaces.

It was a maze to get through construction zones to get to parking . We were very grateful we could unload in front of main doors since we had a lot of gear on our motorcycles. But the instructions to get to and from parking wasn't that clear.

Downtown access was great.
