Very helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. At first I was concerned about having an annex room, but it turned out to be very positive. It was very quiet and parking very convenient. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The ice on the pavement next to the hotel was not gritted and very slippery.

Great place to stay for dog sledding excursions. The hotel ran fabulous snow mobiling tours and thank you Tommy for the guiding. The food at the restaurant was lovely and staff were excellent.

The restaurant during week days offers a tasty and convenient, €15,50, lunch buffet. But in the weekends there’s only a quite short la carte menu and prices skyrocket … like €27 for a reindeer hamburger with fries.

Rooms are small but cozy. Good location facing the river and across from a big supermarket.

A lovely hotel in Ivalo! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There are also lots of winter activities offered at the hotel which is so handy. Would highly recommend to others, great value for money.

The room has two stories and is spacious for 5 people. The staircase is narrow and a bit steep. We have a private sauna room. The restaurant attached to the hotel has very good local food. The hotel is across the street from a big supermarket. Ivalo is a small town so it’s easy to get around. It’s also close to the airport.

I hate to say this but, I didn’t care for the breakfast. Bacon was soggy and no salmon.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It had Everything you could ask for. Plus a huge Grocery store right across the street so convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Oh yes and in room sauna is wonderful. Book all your tours through this hotel it was so easy meeting each tour right from our hotel. We did Ice Fishing, Dog Sledding, Crab Safari, Snow Mobile all from our hotel. Ice fishing tour was awesome. Even for someone who never fished before. I caught 3. And the guide was so kind and informative. He gets a 10 for this tour from me and my husband.

Everything was really smooth and have no complaints whatsoever

As we were a group of 4 friends, we had taken an apartment and the experience was simply extraordinary. We had a very spacious apartment with all the amenities and facilities listed in the listing. The highlight was the sauna and the fireplace in the apartment which were the highlights of our stay. The staff was also friendly and there were many activities provided by the hotel which we booked at the last minute and the prices were super competitive. They were very punctual and friendly and had an amazing experience staying at Kultahippu

Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to stay. My wife and I both had lunch, which was great. Just after checking in I unfortunately had a drain bleed and was taken to hospital. But the assistance and care offered by the staff was amazing. The care and support my wife received over this period of stress and unknown was amazing. Thank you. You lovely people.

We liked everything.

We were picked up at the airport on time by Tommy, super friendly, he helped us with our rental gear. He also gave us a tip as to where to go for a nice walk. We liked our room, very modern,clean and comfortable. Front desk help (Sonja?) was great. The waiter at dinner was fabulous (as was our meal) and the morning waitress at breakfast was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is across the street from a supermarket should you need anything (including clothing). Overall a great value.
