Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandEvening meals especially were excellent. The beach is spectacular and you get sun literally all day. The sunset is spectacular.

FranceThe food is good, although the evening menu was a bit too fancy at times. A choice of a less elaborate dish would have been welcomed at times.
The resort is wonderful, the coral reef and snorkling stunning and the staff is amazing.

AustraliaUnfortunately we didn’t enjoy all of our meals. Two things we did enjoy was the Fish Burger and Omelette. It was a very expensive meal package.
Loved our stay at the beach front Bure. The outdoor shower in the bathroom was so beautiful and we also found the bed's very comfortable. We visited the nearby village and Kindy. Which was such a great experience. I also ended up doing the hike. Was such a great hike. With amazing views. Also on a clear night the stars were amazing.

United KingdomA little on the pricey side…
Beach front room (Poppy) - absolutely incredible to walk out onto your own little area of beach. Great food and were able to cater very well for my Coeliac wife. Staff were fantastic and went over and above to make our stay very special. The snorkelling on the reef outside the hotel was some of the best I have ever done.

AustraliaThe reef is gorgeous. Snorkelling off the beach to a beautiful reef with abundant marine life is so luxurious. The food is very fresh and abundant. Breakfast is a continental breakfast buffet plus an a la carte meal and a barista coffee. Dinner was 5 courses with some really interesting delicious dishes. There is a lot to do. Yoga on the beachfront is unforgettable. There is live music every night and it was great listening to Fijian bands. Just watching the sun set is great entertainment. We did the village visit and it was eye opening. We gave generously although it should be a paid activity so the locals get paid for their generosity. It's a very beautiful and down to Earth resort. It's not as flash as other resorts but there's a real family feel.

New ZealandSadly we had a couple of days of big swell which meant the reef was closed to snorkelling, boat based activities were shut down and our planned mountain hike was cancelled. Just bad luck, and while I was happy to swing in my hammock, it would have been amazing if some alternative activities were available for the teens. An organised Volleyball match and crab racing was a highlight.
This absolutely ticked all our Yasawa dreams. Compact, beachfront, stunning reef literally steps away from our bure. Friendly staff and a good range of activities to keep us occupied when we weren’t swinging from our hammock under a coconut tree. Highly recommend the beachfront bure. And the fishing trip with Asava. And the village visit.

AustraliaQuite expensive - especially for simple additions like kids wanting more to eat and for last meal which was going to be $50/ person for a pizza. Felt like it could have been handled better after spending thousands
Loved it - great spot very lovely reef and beach

New ZealandYou opt in to the compulsory meal plan, which makes the trip significantly more expensive. The meals were delicious and there was a lot of choice on the a la carte menu at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s totally understandable why the resort does this but you do end up eating a lot more food than you need (especially in such heat).
The resort is on beautiful Waya Island at the South end of the Yasawas. A shuttle transfer picked us up in Nadi and took us to the port where the resort boat was waiting. The trip out took one hour and we were transported to white sandy beaches and turquoise waters

AustraliaThe online booking forms would’ve been very convenient for booking in activities and massages but they weren’t working at the time we were there. We booked a massage and turned up but they didn’t have our booking.
This place had everything, we just wish we could have stayed longer! Friendliest staff, fun activities and stunning scenery.

AustraliaI booked a bungalow, staff tried to put me in a dorm. Took my luggage to the dorm then I had to wait one hour and ask twice to get my luggage taken out of someone else’s dorm and bought to my room. It took the shine off my arrival but was the only negative issue for my whole stay.
Diving shop and operators exceptional. Particularly Drilli. Most staff were wonderful some others appear to be failing it in.
