We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe food at the buffet was just awful. Stay away from the sausages - even the stray cat wouldn’t touch them. Bacon half burned. Felt like we were being fed scraps from the night before once - it was Italian night and the next morning there was dried out spaghetti on offer. Dinner was not much better - everything bland, broiled and boring. Make other plans for meals.

New ZealandThe rooms were really old and dated, plus some stains on the bath tub. Pillows were also really high and uncomfortable. We also went for buffet dinner. This was below average, the food was pretty much run out and not much selection. We did ask for top us which were organized but overall was not great.
We only stayed for one night and arrived when it was dark. We checked out the pool area and gym although the pool was closed it looked really good and inviting with swim up bar. The resort wasn't very busy but had a great atmosphere down by the buffet restaurant on the beachfront.

AustraliaFirst impressions are so important Most of our party arrived quite late in the evening after a delayed flight My husband and I were told our room was at the bottom of the stairs. We then spent about an hour trying to find it. If someone had simply used the map and circled our room we could have been there in approx 10 min One of our family groups arrived before the others and was told we had an all inclusive package which wasn’t correct they paid for it and then when the rest of us arrived we didn’t opt for it so they were stuck with something they realised they didn’t need Food really needs to be addressed as it is way below an acceptable standard and incredibly expensive for the quality I also don’t like eating in a restaurant with cats roaming around We travel extensively and will not return nor recommend the naviti It is all soooo tired
We really appreciated that we had a bungalow as we were a family of 3 generations travelling together and the bungalow ended up being a great place to the kids to base themselves and enjoy things The kids (2 x 7 1 x 5 and 2 toddlers) were able to enjoy exploring as it was all quite safe Kids club was good and the kids went to a few sessions

AustraliaRooms and bathrooms are a bit dated but functional. Some prices were ridiculous though, a Chinese meal cost us $370 for a few dishes and drinks. So lucky we had all inclusive! Water sports needs a refresh as the SUPs have no fins and close far too early. Difficult to get snorkelling gear. Service speed at the bar needs to be faster/more efficient.
Food was good. All inclusive was probably good value. Kids enjoyed their first time in Fiji. Staff very friendly and good location. Definitely checkout the village but get prices upfront or you will be fleeced.

United KingdomThe all inclusive package is not very good compared to others. Usually all inclusive means just that, as long as it's local alcohol etc. Included drinks were very limited, you could not even get a coffee or water after breakfast without being charged. Every time you went to your bar you had to complete a paper slip and sign, despite wearing an all inclusive wristband. This is also not very environmentally friendly, such a lot of paper. The buffet meals were ok, very similar every day. We booked the two "a la carte" restaurants included in the package. Better than the buffet food, but definitely not a la carte and a lot of the menu was at an extra cost. There was a lack of evening entertainment for adults. We only saw one cultural show in 5 days, which was really nice to see. But other than that it was someone tucked away in a corner on a keyboard. The complex itself was in lovely well kept grounds, but our room was dated. Our key card also didn't work on two occasions. This was rectified quickly, but was still inconvenient as we couldn't get into our room to change. All in all, we wouldn't return
The location was nice, although the beach wasn't great. The hotel and grounds were nice and well kept. The staff in general were very friendly all the time, although the man on reception was not very personable. Anna who looked after our room was excellent, a credit to the resort. She kept our room spotless and was just a lovely person, thank you Anna.

New ZealandThe rooms are quite dated now. Lighting in my room was so dim I found it hard to read in the evenings. The main restaurant is okay but there is a lot of room for improvement. I thought the dinner buffets were disappointing and overpriced.
I loved the well established grounds and gardens and the outlook to the ocean.

New ZealandFood was very average, but we expected that. Gluten free options very limited and the gf buns and pizza were awful. If you are on the buffet chef was pretty good at doing something extra. Vegetarian options are good but very minimal / if any protein options Not a swimming beach

AustraliaIs a little out of the way. 1 hour 45 from Nadi airport and 2 hours from Suva. Would be a bit isolating without transport. But we were ok as we hired a car.
Great property, lots of activities and entertainment. Great cocktails, good food at all restaurants, onsite store, very clean, all the staff were amazing, welcoming and friendly. Large rooms with large bathroom, verandah, mini fridge and tv. Excellent pool, pool bar and adults only bar. Highly recommend this place and would stay here again if I come back to Fiji.

AustraliaThe food was not great buffet, which was very expensive . Asked cleaner for smaller pillows as pillows are too high felt ignored myself and partner used our jumpers the whole 7days of our visit. $250 each per day to upgrade to inclusive package was not worth it. $80 to drive us to town return very expensive this was my 2nd time to Fiji naviti if I knew it was this expensive I would have went to Bali instead.

TongaExtension line for room service never ever answers. Spent more than half hour trying to order food. Had to call reception desk multiple times to ask for transfer to room service. Even reception desk does not answer immediately. Hair dryer in room was not working. Safe in the room was already locked so unable to store valuables.
I like that the bedsheets were comfortable and clean. The layout and atmosphere of the resort is really nice.

AustraliaSmall things but very lacking in cupboards and drawers for unpacked clothes. Lived out of suitcases. Pool was big and clean but honestly was too warm to be refreshing. Don’t know if that was just the natural effect of the hot December weather, if not the heating could be turned down. Still cool with the breeze when you get out..minor issue
Great staff, very helpful and friendly. The all inclusive made for a stress free and easy holiday Rooms comfortable, clean and reliable air con. Very much needed being peak of summer

AustraliaUnfortunately my stay did not live up to expectations at all. The reception staff are the rudest. Check in was awful. For the first 2 days of our stay the resort was full of local teachers and their families celebrating the end of the school year. It was horrendous. We were spat on, had items stolen and sexual advances were made to a female member of my family. There was no room in the pool for us and the staff totally ignored us. On the third day of our stay, when the local Fijian families left we were able to enjoy the pool but the pool bar staff were very rude and very reluctant to serve us. Unfortunately the experience was not at all pleasant. Management was not very helpful. I really wanted to leave but without a partial refund being given it was financially impossible. The activities team are by far the most friendly staff at the resort. They are amazing. I was extremely disappointed and would never return to the Naviti. Unfortunately I found the staff to be the biggest let down. I have been to Fiji several times before and have never ever had any of the problems I had at the Naviti.
The pool is lovely. The activities team are great.
