“I enjoyed chatting with the owners and finding out some history of coal mining in the local area. The building was previously the offices for the local mine. The room was great and had a lovely breakfast.”

The female owner is friendly and highly accommodating; she allowed me to use her washing machine and dryer which again she did not charge me for. Breakfast was a cut above any I’ve had so far. I would highly recommend this gite and would have no hesitation in returning for another stay, if I’m in the area.”
