Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe bathroom door doesn't quite cover the space for it (as in, there are little cracks where you can peek in) and was made of glass so it didn't really feel that seperated from the room - as we stayed as a couple, this wasn't a huge deal, but might be a bit awkward if you were sharing with a friend. The shower basically turned the bathroom into a wet room, so be prepared to use a couple of extra towels to clean that up.
Small hotel but the room was large and the bed was really comfortable. TV and Wifi worked well. Didn't test them out, but the room also came with a kettle and some tea/coffee. The staff were really friendly and let us leave bags at the reception both before and after our stay so we could go sightseeing (bonus: there was a very sweet cat hanging around reception!). The desk is 24 hours so we could come and go as we pleased. Close enough to walk to the Eiffel Tower and plenty of nice shops and boulangeries nearby.

AlbaniaI wouldn't say I liked the fact I had to leave the key every time we got out. Although the reception was open 24 hours, I would have preferred to keep it with me.
Everything was as described. You get what you see. The hotel is accessible by metros and a 20 min walk from tour Eiffel. The staff is helpful, kind and warm. The room was clean and had enough space for two. There was tea and a kettle in the room. There was also a safe in the garderobe. The room was tidied every day and towels were changed upon request. The neighbourhood is tranquil and with nice boulangeries around. After long days roaming through the city, the room was great for a long night's sleep.

United KingdomNowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. Please put up a few hooks! Otherwise bathroom facilities very good. Room was small but that is to be expected in Paris.
Generally everything was great, especially the location and the staff. Great selection of shops and restaurants in the area. Easy metro access. Quiet location so peaceful and quiet at night.

ItalyThe first night it was not easy to manage room temperature (it was -6°C outside and the city is implementing the 'sobriété energétique' plan, which is good for the environment but requires some adaptations when arriving from warmer places). The second night things were more under control.
Perfect location to explore the western portion of Paris' core districts, with subway just a few hundred metres from the hotel. Lovely neighbourhood with a number of small restaurants and bakeries of you do not go for breakfast at the hotel (which is abundant and superb). Rooms are quiet and well furnished. Staff is super kind and will make the best to facilitate your plans in town.

RomaniaThe bathroom was not completely isolated, the door was glass and it was not closing completely (by design).
The room was cleaned every day and was clean to start with, the facilities were good and the location was close to Eiffel Tower, around 20 minute walk.

United States of AmericaThe sheets and towels were a little threadbare and made the plastic mattress cover more noticeable. The rooms are quite small, which is the norm in Paris.
The hotel is in a very convenient but quiet area of Paris, one of my favorites. The desk staff is warm and welcoming, and the room was very clean.

AustraliaThe only critique/thing to be aware of is that the rooms are not soundproof at all. Wasn't a major issue while we were there but you can hear people opening draws/using the sink/muffled conversations from adjacent rooms.
Clean, great location close to the metro/walking distance to the EiffelTower. For the price point, I think it might be the best value for money accommodation in Paris!
