The stairs to the second floor were very steep however they do have hand rail on both sides.

It was a very warm and cosy apartment with everything you needed in a perfect situation inside the walled town. Restaurants and a supermarket nearby but whatever you needed you didn’t have to walk far.

Excellent place, well equipped for a break in Avignon. Had everything we needed, and the best part is it felt like coming home, rather than some soulless hotel. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

The property is centrally located with a short stroll to restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment is located on the second floor, well laid out and quite spacious. The bed is comfortable and there is a sleeper couch if needed. Excellent kitchenette with all amenities. Will definitely stay here when visiting the area.

There was a lot of noise from nearby neighbours that went until well after midnight as well as people returning from a late night out I suppose this is the price you pay for living so close to the heart of Avignon Also the cloth for washing dishes and cleaning was dirty and I felt that that should have been replaced before we arrived

Not a negative, more a caution, there is no traffic segregation in Avignon so be aware of traffic when walking on some of the paths within the walls. Booking a taxi was more practical through Booking.com and cheaper. They didn't pay me to say that!

We liked the location, the French character of the building and nearby entertainment. Avignon is a walled town and we like walking so hiring a car is not practical. Finding your way around the town was very good from the location . The apartment was quiet, tidy, clean and suited our needs.

The quiet location inside the city walls was great. It was nice to have a separate bedroom, the bathroom is updated, and Hugo gave us good instructions so access was easy. I would stay here again when I’m back on Avignon!

There was nothing really that we didnt like. Maybe the bed could have been bigger, but it just would be a plus. We found everything in good condition so nothing to say here.

room located at top floor but no lift.

First time in South of France. Due to lack of understanding the lifestyle, we did face a couple of hiccups during our stay. Firstly the tv connection wasn’t working well. Then the water heater ran out of hot water. Frustrating as we struggled to get them resolved whilst we texted back and forth with Hugo. Eventually, all worked out well. Hugo was prompt with his responses. He came by to help with the tv connection the next day. When it still didn’t work out in the evening, he came by to assist on it. We chatted while he fixed the tv. And he explained on the heater’s issue using French expression- when one shower, he/she always think about the siblings who will be taking the shower next. Put us to shame as we come from Singapore where we enjoy abundance of accessible heated water( in our hot climate!). We appreciate the effort that he rode on his bike to come over to address the problem. Note: Hugo mentioned it’s a 15 min drive which sounded relatively short or close distance. But given the speed limit here, we gauge it’s at least a 12-15km distance. And I think it could be dinner time for him. He could/ should be spending his time with his family. We enjoyed our stay here and it did feel like our own home in Avignon. Because it feels like a real home, pls be bearing for small hiccups to happen. Last tip, do bring along a laundry net for washing, especially for knit wear if you are traveling during the colder seasons. We tried to find one here but couldn’t even in Carrefour. Merci beaucoup Hugo! We hope to see you in Singapore one day!

There were a few stairs but no problem for us.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed. it was in a very central location in the heart of Avignon. it also had the added bonus of a washing machine and we could log into Netflix.

The buildings in the street seem to be at different stages of updating so the view from the apartment was disappointing.

A clean, well equipped, quite spacious apartment . It’s well located for the main sites, including the famous bridge. Clear directions from Hugo made access easy and we thank him for his hospitality.

A strong sewer smell was coming from the bathroom. Whatever we did, the smell was there and reach the bedroom. It might be a building problem but it was very noticeable in the apartment and really annoying!

Nice location in the heart of Avignon with restaurant nearby. Free parking only at a 10min walk or accessible by free shuttle bus. Apartment was well equiped with brand new appliances.

But.........The airco didn't work, we couldn't change the temperature and it was bloody hot, inside and outside!!! The sleeping couche is bumpy and not comfortable at all to sleep on. The street/ neighbours are pretty loud. Alltogether we slept very, very badley!
