Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAn ice bath would have been icing on the sauna cake and it would have been great to have some equipment that could be borrowed for the beach - mats and a parasol for example.
Pool and sauna were great. amazing location as literally a minutes from the beach which is glorious and vast. also right by the bus stop into town.

United KingdomThe restaurant was fine, but just go to the beach bar. The selection for breakfast was great.
The hotel itself isn’t the main reason to stay here—though it does the job well. It’s clean, well-located, with secure parking (great for high-value cars), and all the basics you'd expect. The pool is okay, but nothing special. The real reason to stay? The bar on the beach, just a short stroll away. It’s got a laid-back, funky vibe, live music, and an unbeatable summer atmosphere. You're only 15 minutes from the motorway, making it a perfect stopover. And just a few minutes away is the Dune du Pilat—the largest sand dune in Europe. If you’re heading up or down France and need a Bordeaux-area stop in the summer, this is the one. You won’t forget the night.

IrelandCheck in 4pm is a bit late considering spa area closed at 6.30pm (I thought was later but must've misread) So was a bit rushed on arrival to use spa (looked like some other guests were same) then we got asked to leave spa at 6.15pm EV charge didn't work (3 were out of order) which meant I was under pressure to get a charge next day to make my way to next stop and then also use the spa again as only got 45 mins the day before which was whole reason chose this hotel. If I could've checked in earlier and done Dune de Pilat after using spa probably would've worked better. On checkout of my room I dropped my hat in lift and had left my key in room (as had already checked out at reception) I asked in at the spa desk and the lady was a bit rude and told me to go to reception (but I didn't have time as needed to get on road) and then they spoke in French, so felt a bit annoyed when I was leaving. It wasn't an expensive hat but it was my Camino hat.
Dog Friendly - welcome pack for dogs and little door signs for them when you aren't in room so not to be disturbed this is a lovely touch. Beautiful spa hotel in beautiful grounds Beautiful area in Arachon recommend Dune de Pilat. Salt water pools in spa area, really good sauna's and steam rooms Could take dogs to outdoor area for dinner. Lovely mojito from the bar. Beautiful breakfast

Comfortable bed, great shower, spa facilities were good, we ate in the restaurant once and it was a good quality set menu, location is great for Le Moulleau (15 mins walk) and Arcachon (25 mins walk), and Dune Du Pilat (2 hours walk), pool area was lovely, staff were great. Gym doesn't open until the spa does at 9am and is boiling hot. Will definitely return.

We had an amazing weekend at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, just a 5-minute walk from the beach, which made our trip even more special. The staff were absolutely wonderful, always friendly and attentive. The hotel bar serves fantastic cocktails, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun or in the spa. A special touch that made our stay even better was the warm welcome for our dog! She was greeted with surprise treats and a bowl in our room, which was such a thoughtful detail. It was a great experience for all of us. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

United KingdomI am really cross that my husband was not allowed to use the indoor pool. We were not informed prior to our arrival of the weird requirement only applicable to men who must wear tight speedos rather than swimming shorts. The reason given made no sense (apparently people in shorts wee in the indoor pool and this is unhygienic; pockets on shorts fill with water- which is untrue as swimming short pockets are made of webbing). We should have been informed in advance as the indoor facilities were the main reason we stayed there. We won’t stay again as the indoor spa is the main asset otherwise it is away from the town centre and food options were limited in that area.
The breakfast offered was a good selection but lunch, dinner was limited. Room service was ok except it was mostly under seasoned. The quiche was burned and tasteless but burger, fries and wrap were all ok. Staff were very willing to be helpful. The bathroom products were great and a really good size for the rooms. Tea and coffee facilities were great too. The bathrobes were exceptionally soft- maybe the best I have ever had in a hotel. Towels were worn out and need replacing though. Hairdryer was pathetic and cut out when overheating. TV only offered French channels, shame no netflix or smart tv options to log into.

Excellent muscle relaxing jets in the pool . Outdoor pool is also great - a nice length for swimming laps. Water refreshing

CanadaUnfortunately my room wasn't the greatest. One of the only rooms without a balcony and over the main entrance. So when coaches came in to load up groups, they normally kept their engines running and it woke me up. Also, at breakfast once I went to get a second cappuchino from the machine and they had been turned off (end of breakfast service) so I was told to go to the bar. However, the bar charged me 7 euros ... very disappointing !
Although my room wasn't great, the overall hotel was outstanding. We spent so much time in the pool and spa and loved every minute. It was so relaxing which we needed. Excellent breakfast as well. Very luxurious property.

SwitzerlandThere were huge, noisy construction activities in front of the balcony, between hotel and the sea. Of course not to be avoided, but information before would have been fair. Then there would have been the choice of another room. Although sea side no view.
