I paid additional charges for the express breakfast which was extremely meagre - 1 v small pain au chocolate and an orange that was so old and wizened I didn't eat it and a single small cup of coffee. I went to the boulangerie and bought two full size croissants for a third of the price, to make up the difference. Better not to offer it if it's going to be as bad as that.

Firstly, I want to mention that Silvio at the front desk was extremely helpful during our stay. He greeted us warmly and provided excellent recommendations, which we tried and thoroughly enjoyed. Although there was an issue with the hot water on the first night, it was promptly resolved. The hotel is nice, with clean rooms and a good range of services, making it good value for money. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would like to extend our thanks to Silvio once again!

The rooms are very small, not a problem if you are alone or if you stay just for 1 or 2 night, the bathroom I find really really small

The electrical lighting was a bit confusing, but it’s Paris so no complaints.

It is definitely not 4 star hotel experience. You can see that rooms and hotel itself are a bit outdated and it needs a general renovation. We had to switch the room because the bathroom sliding door had completely stuck, but the staff were quick to react. Rooms are very small, and with the baggage, 2 people in the room cannot pass each other.

Location, location, location. It is a good price to quality ratio. Staff were helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day, and hygiene was on a high level.

The general condition is pretty bad. In our first room the sliding door of the bathrooms often didn’t close properly and once it even got stuck so we were given another room. The sliding doors also stay open all the time so you’ll be looking at your toilet a lot. The second room was better, however the light was flickering randomly. The hotel also smells a little moldy.

Central location in Paris, a lot of attractions, shopping and nightlife within a 20 minute walking distance. The staff were also very kind and tried their best to help.

Room cleaning was sloppy when performed but mostly inexistent. Modernising hotel failed on at least two issues: 1) “State-of-the-art” in-room lighting controls DO NOT WORK. Getting to a situation of having just reading nights on by the bed was a continuous nightmare in first allocated room and only slightly better in the one we were moved to after complaining. 2) windows are single glazed, creating a situation of deep cold unless heating (HVAC) worked, thus overheating the space with no real happy medium.

Attempted quite successfully to appear modern &v well kept. Staff tried to be helpful with issues.

room is petite but clean - facilities are fair, you got everything you needed. kettle was not working though. it's in a very prime location and it's in the heart of Paris, I would say for the price, the hotel is fair/good, not great, but fair.
