This is the second hotel in this chain I have stayed in, and both are over-rated as 4 star. A nice 3 star, yes, but the room amenities are not 4 stars. Maybe the spa and other amenities are, I didn't use those facilities. The room was rather warm, and the only way to cool it off was to open the window. which, by the way, had no black out drapes. Only sheers. This was March and not that warm....

The location was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was reasonably quiet. The staff was very pleasant, and the breakfast was great!. Parking was convenient. The bar area was quite comfortable.

The secure parking on site is useful as the port area is very busy. Check in and out was efficient. Good wifi.

In the restaurant room, because of the carpet, I felt discomfort as my allergies were acting up because of acarids and dust mite that were in the carpet. (note: it was only in this place and not in the room). We would have also loved to have a sort of WC brush to clean the toilet as sometimes it turned out to be quite difficult to do it without the tool. The ratio snack price was a bit higher especially for the dish Chicken Curry with bulgur: I only had 3 tiny pieces of meat for 13€ in a small glass jar that was probably in total 300gr. Other than that, it was great!

Location: Awesome, the view was spectacular; Room: the size of the room was good. Breakfast: good produce, refined; it was abundent. Cleanliness: it was good; The staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. The message of best wishes for 2024 was really touching and thoughtful.

Perhaps a refurb for the bedroom would be good but We would stay here again.

Brilliant location with a free bus service into Dinan. Room was a bit tired but it was fine for a night or two and parking was secure and free. Swimming pool looked nice but had just closed.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed except for the breakfast buffet. However, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. The buffet is varied but replenishing the few hot items was hit and miss. Our ‘accessible’ room spacious and comfortable although the bedroom carpet was tired with several stains. We have stayed here a couple of times in the past, including under a previous brand, so slightly sad with this experience.

The location is superb on the quiet side of the River Rance in the beautiful port.

A softered, and better food

The breakfast was very dissapointing .when entering the restaurant there was no staff to greet us .the breakfast choices were minimal and dissapointing There was hardly any hot food left, for us. To eat.

Happy with everything except the air temperature control system appeared to be in the locked position so the temperature the room could not be regulated. Would be helpful to guests if a set if operating instructions were made available.

Whilst the "bar food" was good quality and good value, it would have been nice to have a restaurant on site.

Lovely comfortable room with a great bathroom and the garden terrace was a real bonus. Loved the swimming pool and hot-tub, a wonderful way to relax and unwind after a hard day exploring the area. Breakfast was superb with a huge choice. Absolutely fabulous location in the port area and free parking is a bonus.

small swimming pool, unhealthy levels of chlorine especially in the jacuzzi, no bath in the bathroom despite it being large enough to accommodate a bath - not good, some rooms in the hotel could easily have a bath in the bathroom, mercure hotels usually have baths to offer. Very strange light in the hallway in our room kept coming on every time we moved - very poor design as you cant turn it off! Style of the building didnt fit in with the location, we had a good stay.

good to have a pool but it was so small that you cant swim in it and together with the jacuzzi the fluoride levels were a health hazard - far too high. Lovely staff, good location, We had a good stay, thank youl

Very convenient hotel with ample parking and close to the restaurants by the river. The rooms are big enough and modern. Breakfast is the usual fare, but with plenty to choose from.

Have stayed here twice before and really enjoyed our stay and the location. Choice of good restaurants in the town and right on the bike path. We arrived by bike and were able to lock securely outside. Previously have arrived by car and good parking.

The prepayment policy. Taking an amount far greater (€220) than the total bill (€155) from our card at check in, then the promise of a refund of the surplus some time (days) after check out. Immediately questioning the honesty and integrity of your clients enmasse in advance and putting in place an overkill mitigation is not the way to solve the problem. Simply taking full payment in advance instead would be fine. A deal breaker for me, I won't book Mercure again if this is a National policy?

Always stay here on the way back through France to Roscoff. The hotel never disappoints. Great location next to the river and a number of good restaurants within walking distance.
