Breakfast was mediocre. Bread and pastries were not as good as one usually gets in France. Pressing cappuccino on the coffee machine gave us hot chocolate.

Liked the ambience. Room was lovely. Close to all the wonderful things to see in Nîmes.

Excellent location for all of Nîmes attractions. Staff were very helpful and would certainly recommend this hotel for a visit to Nîmes. Direct travel by train from Marseille 1hr 10mins. Must visit the food Halles.

The area feels a little unsafe at night.

The hotel is built in a wonderfully restored medieval structure. It is central and within walking distance of all main touristic attractions. Plenty of lovely places to eat around. The staff is competent and knowledgeable. The breakfast is continental and diverse with warm food, pastries, fresh bread and fresh fruits.

No lighting available by pull out couch. Shower head made it difficult to take a hands free shower without soaking the bathroom.

All was very nice, food was excellent, the staff were very helpful, and the location was great.

Comfortable stay in a historic part of Nimes

There is a lift but the narrow old stairs might be a problem for some.

The hotel is in a backstreet in the historic part of Nimes. Inside is areal mix of old and new. Our queen room was modern, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant and we didn’t book breakfast so I can’t comment about the food, but I thought the hotel was good vale for money and I would use it again

Having our room upgraded, gratis. We both found all the staff professional, pleasant and welcoming. The inside of the building is an architectural and historical gem. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. The local tourist office staff were so knowledgeable and helpful.

    nothing.

What a gem of a hotel! From the outside you would never know how delightful it is inside - lovely old building stacked with features (the old staircase is a gem). Decent sized room with all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay. Secure parking close by. Lovely helpful staff. We didn't stay fro breakfast so cannot comment, but the bar/breakfast room is very nice.

The breakfast was quite expensive and although perfectly acceptable could have been better for the money. On one day there wasn't any breakfast despite me being there before the time they claimed to finish service however it wasn't a huge issue for us and I am sure they would have made us something had we asked.

A perfectly lovely hotel with a stunning inner courtyard. The hotel is very close to all the main sites and the train station. The hotel has a lovely bar and the staff were professional and welcoming.

Tricky to find down a side street; no parking space outside hotel to unload cases etc.

Central location, within easy walking of the main sites. Good, helpful and informative staff at reception. Unusual ancient building, well restored, with stone steps and medieval courtyard and balcony. Good breakfast. Underground car parks within 5 minutes walk of hotel. Tranquil location.

No bathmat in the bath/shower (slipping hazard). Design and positioning of the shower was strange and not easy to use. No grab handles for getting out of bath, No seat in the bathroom.

Very good breakfast. Fascinating building. Staff very helpful. We had a great sitting out area with table and chairs in the sun. Good location for the key parts of the city but very quiet, no traffic. Building work to next building did not start until 8.30 so no disturbance.

not possible given the building and its location but parking would have been a bonus as we had to park in St Auguste and bring bags 300m to the hotel (local roadside parking is almost impossible in the locality)

the hotel is not a typical Best Western, situated in a historical building in the old town and retaining many original features including the 4 floor open central atrium. friendly helpful staff, large comfortable room and excellent fresh breakfast.
