Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaNoise from wooden stairs :)
Vintage hotel, not fancy, but warm, staff amazing, location 15 min walk from Eiffel, good oriental food in their restaurant for normal price. First impression, I had doubts, but later this little hotel grew on me.

United States of AmericaAs it is a much older building, there are steps to navigate and no elevator. Its is a small boutique property. I think the owner told me that he only rents 12 rooms out and thinking about the property that seems to be about right. The owner/patron speaks english a little---there are no USB plugs in the rooms and limited places to plug up essential electronics.
I rented 3 rooms for myself and family members. The rooms are super clean, and of the 3 rooms rented 2 of them had brand new, updated bathroom facilities. One room needed an updated bathroom. It is super close to the Eiffel Tower and the Commerce Tube stop. Commerce street is a great little place with all kinds of shops.

Near by Metro station and Eiffel tower. The staff is very kind, we came at this hotel very earlier than check in time, but the staff gave us our room. There is a nice Algiers restaurant at the ground floor. There are many coffee shops surrounding at the area

PolandThe drainage in sink is very weak, and it took minutes for water to flow down properly. There is no toilet paper holder. The wi-fi was weak and slow. Due to weather (heatwave) the room was very hot, and there was no ac. It may be better during non-heatwave days. !!! The stairs to the rooms are very narrow and curvy and steps are uneven from usage, keep that in mind if you have very heavy luggage, have movement issues or disabilities. !!!
Enough space to, unpack, take a shower, have a calm sleep and move away at morning. Everything was clean and nothing was broken. No noise from neighbors or heat and smell from restaurant under the hotel rooms.

New ZealandNot having a lift is a major inconveninece especially if you have multiple luggages. Would have given a better score if only the hotel had one.
Great location and the room was clean.

AustraliaWalls are very thin; you can hear television as well as conversations of your neighbours. Also keep in mind, there's no lift or such thing, so you will have to take the stairs to your room every day. Which was fine with me, but just an FYI :)
Staff is super friendly, and happy to help with anything. Very simple and practical rooms. The bathroom is super new and modern though. Great location, being only 15min walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. It was easy and close to the grounds while I was in town for the Longines Global Champion Tour, and I would stay here again.

FinlandThe shower was not fixed into the wall so I was forced to keep the shower in one hand and wash my hair by the other hand!! Room was small but fine, however, the bed was quite old and it make sound when you slightly move in the bed. Also, there wasn't enough light in the room just two small lamps beside the bed and not any other place!!
Location of the Hotel is great, pretty much close to Eiffel tower and also you can find easily Bus to go anywhere you want. Staff was great I put my luggage in the hotel free of charge and they were very kind and well English spoken as well.

United KingdomToo noisy during the day due to the location hence not ideal for day time rest. Hot water in the bathroom is a bit slow but serves the need.
Hotel is located in the heart of Paris, Metro is next door, lots of cafe and take aways near by. Hotel staffs are very courteous and always welcoming. Special mention to those two girls who were incharge of cleaning rooms, very courteous and knew what was needed despite language barrier. They cleaned the room every day and at times asked also if I needed anything in the room. Simply Excellent!
