To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

RussiaLift can fit 2ppl hugging 😂 (literally!) or 1 person & a upright standing bag, with no room left. Otherwise it’s a spiral staircase. Rooms aren’t standard shape mostly. PS It’s not regarding hotel, but if you travel by metro with heavy luggage, there are lots of stairs to cover going up…
It’s a very cozy & atmospheric boutique-y type, seems like the apartment block been transformed into, hotel. Staff is very helpful, efficient, polite and know their job. Room was very clean (I’m an hygiene geek due to occupation) and minimalistic but all was there: slippers, good toiletries, kettle, etc. Very nice powerful shower and super clean (may be recently renovated?!) bathroom. Location is easy to find and very close to metro, with lots of various necessities shopping around the area but that’s not much around ie sightseeing, apart from botanical gardens, if you have few hours spare. Street is on a busy side in AM but at night was quiet. Shop opposite works late on weekends.

The location was very convenient for the course I was taking. The staff were very pleasant and quick to take care of a couple of things in the room which needed fixing (replacing a battery and lightbulb).

United KingdomThe room is pretty small. I booked a double room but it wasn’t available so they kindly upgraded us to the Deluxe but it was still very small. The shower was very slippery so had to very careful when using it.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us a map and took the time to point out how to travel to the places we were going. The location is excellent, it’s about 20 minutes on 1 train from the Eiffel Tower and roughly 35 on 2 trains from the Louvre museum.
