Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThe building is old and the lift is very small. We face a lot of issues with the room lock. Everytime we have to call the reception to open our room, as the key-card were not working properly. They did replace it multiple times, but it didn't work. Once we were sleeping, and the staff opened our door without knocking. It was 2pm and was very strange. Might be a human mistake, but felt very weird and have never happened before.
The property was at a very good location, just 10-minute walk from the Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower. It is located in a peaceful neighbourhood.

We liked everythign but found the location, although it's in a nice nice area and close to Eiffel Tower, a little too much off-centre for other tourist attractions. But that's just us, as we said, nice area and the Metro isnt far anyway.

RomaniaThe room was a bit cold. The size and comfort of the room did not justify the price. Slow check-in process.
The room was nicely decorated, but rather small. The bathroom was rather large for Paris standards. Nice view. Good breakfast. Nice area.

BelgiumWe could hear the noise from the bathrooms in other rooms next door and above. Also noise from guests walking around in the room above us and in the hallway. Also after returning home, I noticed the hotel reception tried to authorise an additional night on my credit card on the 11/11/2024 at 14:00 after we had already left the hotel on the 11/11/2024 in the morning and paid the full amount of the bill. This is surprising, perhaps a computer bug.
Hotel is located in a residential area of Paris, away from crowded tourist areas, 10 minutes walk from metro station. There is a good choice of restaurants for dinner nearby. We had a nice large room, with big bathroom for Paris standards, very clean. Our room was located on 2nd floor so we took the stairs to avoid the small elevator. Breakfast was good, with friendly staff bringing coffee and thee.

Israel4 people in a room is too crowded but manageable. Breakfast is ok, too bad the coffee is worse than Nespresso capsules coffee. Elevator is a problem.
Overall, a good hotel in a quiet neighborhood, with a 10 minute walk (15 with small kids) to the metro. Location - quiet neighborhood, quiet street, but not a lot do around. You're 5 minutes away from a street with some shopping options (but not restaurants). Rooms - nice and comfy, bathroom is nice, but sharing this room with two more kids seems a bit much. It's very crowded and there's not a lot of floor to walk on. Hotel facilities - an old hotel, probably like most of the hotels in Paris. They have an extremely tiny elevator you can barely use for your luggage, and it's very slow. The spiral staircase is beautiful but hardly fun to use. Service - nice and courteous. Breakfast - the basic European breakfast you'd expect - some fruits, croissants, bread, butter, eggs and machine-coffee. All 'ok' and gets the job done. I believe it's only a plus when traveling with kids - if not, you are in Paris. Go outside to a bakery and buy yourself quality food. It is worth mentioning that if you love coffee, this is not the place. Most of Paris, actually, is not the place for coffee.

SwitzerlandThe price was too high so we would probably not stay there again.
The location in the Passy neighbourhood was very convenient for us near to our daughter's apartment. Good shopping and eating in the area. The room was good size and very comfortable and quiet. Beds were great! The "free" breakfast buffet was very good as well.
