We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IrelandI was extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by a receptionist (whose name I unfortunately do not remember) who was working in the morning when we woke up. The app clearly stated that our booking included breakfast, but he rudely claimed that Booking.com had not indicated this in our reservation. In addition to denying us access to breakfast, he was extremely impolite and treated us with disdain. My friends and I felt disrespected and unwelcome. I am filing this complaint not only because of the lack of courtesy, but also because we were indeed entitled to breakfast as described in the app.
The location was very good. Close to supermarkets and tourist attractions.

VietnamCheck-in was very poor - there was a queue outside the hotel at after 10pm. The breakfast was very disappointing, with the coffee machine not having any coffee on one day, and the bread was stale - not expected at all in Paris.
The hotel was budget friendly - at our price point this was one of the few options available to us, and it was nice that there was a separate bed for our daughter, even though we had to make it ourselves.

United StatesSome staff were kind, others were rude when they found out which floor we were on, floor two. There must be some price jump or something for the other floors where those people were treated better. Staff wouldn’t help us unless we used the bottom desk. When we checked in, no instructions were given, just a key. The breakfast was also confusing as our booking told us when breakfast was, but no price. When we went to breakfast there were two options and again we were treated oddly. We paid, we ate. The breakfast was good for the money. I didn’t like feeling less than because of our accommodations, I had no idea when I booked that we would be looked down at. The AC in our room didn’t work. The TV remote wouldn’t work after we turned it on, which led me an a 1:30am hunt where I had to go to two desks to be given batteries to switch out myself and the remote still didn’t work. I ended up just unplugging the TV and we didn’t use it again. Housecleaning woke us up before 10am the next day telling us we were to get out. They were rude and told us that they needed to clean our room. We had to show them our reservation proving our check out was at 12pm. I don’t think I’d stay again unless I were in a pitch.
Great location for needing to get up and head to Disney the next day. Small, but as described.

SpainThe subway is far away, you need to catch a bus cause the hotel is a bit isolated. It is situated between a motorway and the railway so there is nothing much to do there.
The holet was correct. The staff helpful. It's a simple hotel. Next to the hotel there is a shopping centre, and a little square with a bar. The area is quite tranquil.

United KingdomAir con would be good, even as an extra, on the hot summer days at £20. Low pressure in the shower, but OK and the sink was nearly blocked, which seems to be an Ibis special,( 3rd time)
Great value room for unde £60 for 3 in the center of Paris. FRENDLY STAFF. OPENING WINDOWS. No air-conditioning but negative pressure in corridor, so left room door ajar for 20 mins and cold night air did the job. We did not get breakfast included, but when we went for breakfast, there is the budget or the regular ibis breakfast. Regular EUR 35 For 2 adults and a Child, v good value as they had pretty much everything you could want for. Except bacon and very good coffee. Ibis red is on the third floor with réception mezzanine first, whereas budget reception in ground and rooms on 1st and second.
