Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The air conditioning was ridiculous: in the lobby temperature was pleasantly around 20-21°C. In the rooms we were not allowed less than 26.

Breakfast... lounge is far too small(only 18 table sesting 2 persons or less if you join tables... Propke wete queueing... Buffet mediocre for an Ibis Style...

Room was extremely small and difficult to move around. Also booking of taxi was not good- didn’t turn up and we almost missed our train. I’d asked night before and morning of leaving if taxi would be delayed due to local event- was reassurd by 2 staff but it still was delayed. Receptionist did try hard to help though

As a minor criticism, our room for three people was smaller than what we have had at other Ibis Styles hotels. Nevertheless, we were already aware of this, having stayed at the same hotel in the past.
Nice hotel in an excellent location, next to the Grosse Horloge and close to all tourist attractions from the old town. Friendly staff and good breakfast included in the price of the room. Although the hotel does not have a parking, it is possible to leave your car in an underground car park nearby in Place di Verdun that offers very competitive rates.

Slightly a cramped bedroom, but it was all there , clean , neat , and tidy.
A little difficult to find , would be suggest nearest parking , which in my opinion is not expensive, certainly by other UK / FR seaside resorts. Free overnight too !s

An extra loo roll would have been handy, but no doubt one would be supplied if requested.
The location is unbeatable, and although most hotels are formulaic, the IBIS styles offered some lovely touches, a filtered water machine and glass bottles are available to take to the room. A left luggage locker is also really handy.

The rooms are a bit "compact", but generally I don't stay in a hotel room apart from sleeping so as long as that is all you require, it's not an issue.
Hotel location is very central yet is not noisy outside at night. plenty of cafe's, bars and restaurants just around the corner and within walking distance. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good without being exceptional.

Room and bathroom were very small. However they were clean and comfortable and that wouldn't put me off.

Good breakfast, but I suggest the addition of some options for people with diabetes such as pain complet, fresh fruit and lean cheese like ricota. The bathroom was very small.
Centrally located at vieux port, convinent walk to the main sights. I stayed for a weekend with my 70-year old mother and her dog. A pet-friendly hotel.

We went with our granddaughter and had a family room. Felt the room was a bit small for a double and single bed. Also I don't drink coffee and the only tea available in the mornings were herbal teas . No English or Morning tea so we had to go out and buy tea a local cafe. Apart from that , breakfast was good
