The property was dated and the rooms weren’t spacious. Breakfast was very basic.

Didn’t like breakfast, cheap, limited options, no hot food. The woman standing in there and looking in your mouth forget to refill juice machine, and paying no attention is the food tray is empty… tired walls and room Devore. Needs new furniture,paint….

Rooms desperately need a renovation. The front desk person is friendly, professional, helpful. He told me that in one year the owner is planning a complete renovation. Clean rooms, comfy bed. Location is great five minutes walk to Printemps department store, Gallery Lafayette, Opera Garnier.

I had to renew door key card, because it just stopped to work. Room was dark because of its location on ground floor.

Paintwork mostly. A good coat of paint especially on the woodwork would smarten this hotel up a lot. Everything is just a little bit tired.

The New Saint Lazare is a pleasant hotel. It is a three star. It is not a four star. The rooms are small and a bit scratched and scraped, but spotlessly clean, and the bedding was impeccable. I was warm. And it's very close to the metro Liège. The staff are truly charming.

Reception is a bit unloved. Reception helpful but not particularly friendly. It was exceptionally hot during my stay and the room was particularly hot despite there being a fan.

Great location! Really lively street where you can find practically everything and the metro station is right around the corner. Small but cosy and clean rooms, stuff is polite and breakfast is fine. Value for money.

The room was really small it could of been set-up with less furniture like table etc for more room to put luggage and bags. Bathroom had mould on ceiling and shower head didnt work properly. Had to use the hand held one.

The location was really central to the train station and bus stops. We enjoyed staying in this location as it was outside the busy city centre of paris.

The rooms were probably at one point really cute but definitely have become very worn. The carpets especially were pretty dirty. The major drawback was the lack of A/C. A friend of mine went in June and it was at the beginning of the heat wave in Europe and the rooms didn't cool down at night even with open windows. My room was a bit cooler because it faced the courtyard and didn't get as much direct sun, but my friend's room was on the other side of the building facing the street and was like a sauna.

The location was great and the staff was friendly. The breakfast wasn't anything special but absolutely fine for the price.

If you are saving money and want to rent a property in the center, then this is for you. The level of the hotel is not high, but I was pleased with the daily good quality cleaning of the rooms.

It was in a nice area, with easy access to 2 metros and a number of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The bathroom was decent and clean. The staff were lovely - many thanks!

Very old and used space. Awful carpets in the room; awful drapes; the room was very tiny; the bathroom was very old, with things broken or missing, and although apparently clean, there was sign of heavy use in the past. The room had only one electric outlet!!! If you need a place to sleep one or two nights and to take a shower, I feel it serves its purpose. I did not pay the extra 12 euros for the breakfast; very near the hotel, there are several shops with very fresh and out of the oven pastry, and they are a lot less expensive.

Door keys difficult to use, unable to charge phone as plugs not working well in room, no plug in bath , place generally quite shabby - not even a picture on wall in room.

The corridor was very narrow.

It's the perfect solution if you're looking for a nice place with a good quality price balance. The location is great, very centric and close to transportation. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was small but still more than acceptable.

Watch out for the bikes on the street! No tea/coffee making facilities. Small stuffy room.

We were able to open the windows onto a sort of small balcony. There was a fan, which was good since it was a warm day. Close to Gare St. Lazare and restaurants. There is also a Carrefours supermarket across the road.
