The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was so fresh and delicious and the restaurant Arco was unbelievable - the food and the staff were both fantastic. I couldn’t fault the stay - thank you!

We were disappointed with the restaurant. It was expensive and mostly the food was excellent. It did not however meet our expectations for what we spent there. One young female staff member was not as pleasant and helpful as we had hoped. This was balanced by the exceptional service of one young man. We would not recommend the massage.

The decor was very relaxing. Its location was excellent. The staff were very helpful.

Overall our stay was good. We had an issue with room service where we ordered what we thought was a croque monsieur but it was a croque fromage. Eventually, we found an arrangement where we only paid for one breakfast instead of 2. Good compromise

Loved interior, location , bar. Our room was very cozy and new. Breakfast was fabulous!( yuh can find anything you want, even champagne 🥂) The atmosphere was very warm, friendly and professional. Quick check in, welcome drink in the garden. All the stuffs for our little doggie ♥️ The location is very central, but cozy and calm. It was really delightful to stay there .

Hotel is located in an ideal location in the heart of La Rochelle. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and greeted us with a glass of champagne! The hotel is modern, luxurious with an authentic old feel. I would definitely stay again!

Bathroom was not really convenient. No place to put a towel, shower is too small.

Location, lobby, cleanliness, design were really nice. Stuff was very attentive. Spa was not big, but you still can relax here.

No complaints whatsoever!

We had a really pleasant stay at the Maison des Ambassadeurs. It's in a very good location in the centre of town and the building and grounds are very attractive. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a well-laid-out bathroom. The large hotel lounge and bar was a great place to relax in the evening. The various staff members we came into contact with were uniformly pleasant, helpful and polite. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

A little awkward to get too. Barriers in the streets, but sorted with a phone call.

I first stayed here in 2017 and returned on this latest visit with my dog. They staff were super helpful and they even left a dog bed and bowl in the room for my pet. Room was spacious and bed extra comfy

The windows did not give great insulation when it was cold.

The menu in the restaurant was too confined. Would have liked an indoor pool but understand the site restrictions so not really an issue. There were a few cobwebs around the main room, on light fittings etc.

Location and Staff. Even though all the staff we saw were young they conducted themselves excellently. Relaxed atmosphere in the main area. The hotel was quite.

Absolutely loved the location of this hotel. Really buzzy during the day but lovely and quiet at night. Staff were all really nice and the small garden and pool area were a really nice addition for such a central hotel.
