The front door was locked when we arrived and no one answered the bell. Returned an hour later, it was open.

The room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. An excellent host. She was able to tell us where to park for free.

The property landscaping was under construction, which caused a little disruption, and there was an unpleasant odor in the entry and stairwell. Also, the towels could have been larger and more plush.

Breakfast buffet was amazing! Francis and Severine were very lovely hosts. We were able to store our luggage before and after our stay, which made it very convenient for our travel plans. The room was well appointed and comfortable, with a lovely view.

No parking on the premises, which we had been partially aware of. There was free roadside parking found nearby, but as the weather was not good for our visit the further free parking would have been an issue.

This is an excellent property - we stayed in the guesthouse, which is behind the main building. It was perfect for 3 couples - having 3 bedrooms, each with bath, a small kitchen/dining area and sitting area. You can get breakfast in the main house if you like but you can also get some groceries and use the kitchen in your guesthouse. (There is even a grocery store within easy walking distance). Very private and we had a parking location. One can walk to everything and the location has a direct view of the Cathedral. The Tapestry is very close by and there are multiple places to eat - all reachable on foot. Also a good location from which to visit the Normandy beaches and Caen if you have transportation.

Minor maintenance needed (toilet valve didn't close so it softly ran continuously, missing bathroom tiles) but not bad enough to keep me away if I ever get back to Bayeux..

The people were helpful and kind and patient with my efforts to speak French. The building is wonderfully restored. The facilities were clean and the hot water was so welcome! The breakfast was delicious and ready when I came down each morning. My large room had double doors to the balcony and a private reading nook that looked at the cathedral, which was beautiful especially at night.

This was such a grand little chateau. Lovely rooms, gorgeous stained glass entrance, dining room and gardens. Love continental breakfasts with fresh croissants. Our hostess, Severine was very friendly and helpful. We also liked that it was in walking distance to the museums, Cathedral and restaurants.

The hosts were very friendly. The location is an easy walk to town center. We had a great view of the cathedral from our balcony. The room was quite spacious with chairs and a table in our bedroom.

Loved everything about this property!

Beautiful property in a beautiful town. Very convenient walk to train station and all attractions in town. The host was so lovely and welcoming. We were able to leave our bags pre and post check in while we toured around. Our room was so pretty and had a private balcony with view of the cathedral. Very clean. Even a heated towel rack in the bathroom. Lovely breakfast included.
