Room was cold in late May, and no way to heat room. Pillows were lumpy and thin. Next to laundering area, so heard machines running/staff chatting.

Gorgeous grounds: so serene and beautiful. Nice staff. Lovely pool area (heated, but too chilly for us on a cloudy spring day).

We found the room a little small.

The traffic can be heard when relaxing outside, though not much can be done about that except installing some soundproofing walls. It would be nice to vary some breakfast offerings, for example- instead of always presenting scrambled eggs, perhaps serve quiche or strata. Lighting is needed in the closet area. There is a little (necessary) workroom near the pool that is unsightly, yet the lights are left on with the door wide open at night, so that it lights up onto your lovely pool area. It's a simple fix- turn off the light and close the door. :)

The hotel is beautiful and elegant without being overdone, and the indoor and outdoor furnishings are abundant . The grounds and buildings are very well maintained, updated, and quietly luxurious. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to take care of every need. The pool is a delight! Breakfast is bountiful, rooms are quietly relaxing, and parking is convenient.

They don’t have a restaurant available for dinner, and though they have a small menu of sandwiches, cheeses to order, the cutoff time is at 8:30, which meant we had to go elsewhere for food options at night.

Le Jas de Gordes is beautiful, central and and well staffed. It was once a single family home, and maintained the feel of being a intimate guest. It was perfect for our first stay in Gordes. The staff was so helpful, as our luggage was delayed.

The beds are quite firm - we still slept fine but something to be aware of for anyone with a bad back.

They really took care of us on this trip - we ended up with one of the rooms facing the sunset for our two nights which was just so lovely. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and kind (and let me practice my French!) Breakfast is amazing - many choices and local options as well. We went for the breads almost every morning - when in France! The pool was also PERFECT. It's very cold which was amazing for the 90 degree heat we were experiencing in Gordes. Extremely refreshing. They have an in house bar nearly 24/7 that also serves snacks until 8pm. We enjoyed many an aperol spritz by the pool, on the terrace, and overlooking the sunset.

Having to leave!

The room was comfortable, as was the outside lanai. Breakfast was a moveable feast, you could eat inside or on the upper terrace or in the open courtyard. The pool and surrounding area had shade or full sun. Food service to the pool was very nice. Le Jas de Gordes is a oasis of relaxation.

Everything was superb and great value for money. The hotel doesn't offer a dinner option, but lots of restaurants within Gordes to pick - a good snack menu is available until 8:30pm and 24/7 bar

Superb location in Gordes, just a 20 minute walk of stunning views to the local village. Beautiful poolside area, lots of areas for relaxation throughout and never felt busy at any point. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and helped book us a dinner at one of the restaurants in the village. Excellent breakfast buffet, with a choice of pretty much anything you would want. The perfect place within the Luberbon to enjoy the best of Provence.

if you are tall you can find the bathroom a little bit small for your size.

The place is beautiful, quiet, close from the village (you can go walking) and the staff really friendly. There are facilities to enjoy a drink everywhere in the place so it can be quiet nice. The pool part is big enough for the amount of guests and it’s comfortable for taking a sun bath. they propose also some food during the day so you can eat a small thing before going to enjoy a nice restaurant in the night in Gordes.

Overall very relaxing, retreat-style feel. Gordes is beautiful, so it was great to be close to the town center. Room was comfortable, bed and shower were great. Breakfast was good enough! Fairly limited selection compared to other stays in France, but more than enough to get our day going. Pool and poolside service were a plus - we spent the afternoon in the lounge chairs.

Would be good to have a restaurant on site for dinners if you don’t want to drive or walk to the centre of the town, particularly when it’s hard to find a place to eat without reservation.
