Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe food and drinks were overpriced in my opinion. It seemed like everything was $10 more than it should have been ($20+ for a beer or $30+ for a cocktail, $40 burger etc....) and made us want to leave the property to find more affordable food options when we would have preferred to stay on the property as much as possible.
We loved our room with private garden terrace. I enjoyed relaxing by their three pools and the staff was very friendly and eager/confident in speaking to us in English. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean and tended to. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs and very helpful in answering our questions and providing services.

United StatesThe food was an issue for us. The Bistro was OK but don't expect a Salade Nicoise to be what you expect. Frankly neither was Ceasar Salade what I expected since a lot of ingredients you had to cut and tear apart yourself and then you had to toss it yourself. While not entirely a "do it yourself" salade it was close. But their lamb for two was superb. They are very flexible if you need to make changes to the selections based on diet and health concerns. However their two starred chef menu in the main restaurant we found atrocious. We have reviewed many restaurants over our years as food and travel writers and this was some of the worst tasting food we have ever encountered in a fine restaurant. The presentation was immaculate. The executing likewise. But the taste combinations we only ate because it was the end of the day and we were starving. And it should be called a "tasting menu" since the sizes averaged just 4 bites each. Very trala but urgh! The lack of volume is made up for with many courses and in between courses. So just be warned. Go over the menu very carefully with the maitre 'd before you commit. Others, of course, may completely disagree with us. It is a very child friendly establishment and they make efforts to accommodate your children. It is also very dog friendly as well.
The rooms were excellent, Breakfast Buffet was one of the best we have encountered at a time when so many luxury hotels are moving away from buffet breakfasts. While we did not use the pool, it was excellent with lots of room for sunbathing and even little partial tents to retire to. The Pacific Island Lagoon pool, surrounded by sun bathing spots and umbrellas even some sandy beach sand was superb. It even had a connected wading pool for children. We did find a problem with a worn out mattress that sagged and was soft, too soft for folks with bad backs. But the staff immediately (the next day since they were fully booked) put us in a different room that was fabulous and had brand new firm mattresses. They could not have done more and were marvelously friendly and helpful. One not: this is a difficult place to find for those without GPS skills since the commune does not let the hotels post those little arrows at round abouts to help you find the hotel, so not their fault. But brush up on your GPS mapping skills before you try to find the hotel. The little country road leading to the hotel is off on the right from a roundabout if you are coming from the Autoroute. There is a tiny street sign hidden up by some trees for Route de Serres so just keep going around the roundabout and ignore angry shouts from other motorists. But once at the hotel, which is on your left as you mount the little country road with lots of narrow bits so be careful if you are driving a Rolls, you have to drive up to the gates and press a button that is to the left of the driveway to get reception to either open the gates or raise the barrier.

United StatesIt is difficult to walk anywhere from the property because of narrow roads. However, the resort provides a wonderful complementary shuttle service to the village up the hill.
The whole property is amazing. We especially loved the wellness area, which was incredible.
