Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI am tall, 191, so the tub shower option can sometimes be a bit short and I couldn't get the hand shower to mount well but was minor inconvenience.
Location was great, easy walk from RER stop direct from CDG so no need for taxis or Ubers. Also easy access to multiple subway lines. Perfect for walking around a whole lot of the main tourist areas, but still a french neighborhood so nice local non tourist options. Wonderful sound insulation never heard a thing on the street.

IrelandThe continental breakfast is average , but to be fair, there is only room for 8 small tables and if too many guests arrive at the same time, it can be difficult to get what you want.
Very friendly, capable staff in the front. We speak very limited French but they went out of their way to speak English and answer our questions. They also helped arrange for flowers to be in our room when we arrived, so I give them high marks for their hospitality.

United States of AmericaStrange light configuration in the main room with either all on or all off except 2 small reading lights on the bed you could individually control. Even with all loghts on, the room tends to be quite dark at night. Bed was firmer than we prefer. Price per night was also very high for a relatively small room, (tho this may have been because of the Rugby World Cup while we were there). I understand that Paris is expensive, but I have stayed at fancier 5 star hotels in the US for less per night. It was a pleasant stay, but the price point seemed out of sync, which is the only real reason we didn't rate it higher.
Roomy beds (think American King size), tub in the attached bath, private and quiet room, kettle for tea and instant coffee in the room, elevator, air conditioned, centrally located to many sites, very pleasant and helpful staff, charming decor. A very comfortable stay centrally located to so many sights. We were happy with the hotel and location overall. A nice stay for a family of three.

Canada1. Paint needs to be refreshed in bathroom (peeling at ceiling and around tub enclosure) 2. the noise from the elevator from Room 15 is a problem to be solved. Thankfully there were not many late and early elevator rides as it really needs to be addressed-given the price of the room one expects better interior noise control 3. Fringe in bottom of room chair needs to be repaired / and attached by sewing

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was very small. There was no outlet in the bathroom to plug in my hairdryer (I didn’t like the one on the wall because it was awkward to have to hold the ‘on’ button down the entire time it’s on) or any other hair accessory. I had to dry my hair in a dark corner where there was a mirror and outlet. There’s no mirror in the bedroom over the desk where there are outlets, plenty of room, and good light from the adjacent window, which would have been the perfect place to sit and do hair and makeup.
The location was fabulous. The bed was comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe decor, specifically the dark paint and lighting in the hallways, the fabric canopy over the bed and heavy drapes and furniture feel dusty and very outdated. The carpet is also rather dark/dull. It would go a long way to lighten up the furniture, paint and carpeting. Because there are no plugs in the bathroom, there needs to be a mirror over the desk/table to sit and do hair and makeup. It is not obvious that there is an electric plug in the closet above the safe, where on day 4 I realized I could do my hair in the mirror inside the closet door. The elevator is only big enough to send one suitcase down to floor 2, then it has to be dragged up or down a flight of stairs. This is difficult for older travelers.
The bathroom is nicely updated but the space in the bedroom and bathroom is very small. The cleaning staff does a good job keeping things fresh and clean, but sometimes they spray way too much scented room freshener. I had to air out the room to keep from wheezing from the spray.

United KingdomFirst morning breakfast / limited cheese and not very fresh. No person to explain where things were and no table set up. Asked reception who just pointed to say help yourself (difficult with no crockery). Waitress eventually turned up and not very helpful. Saying that the waitress on Monday & Tuesday was very pleasant and helpful with food restocked and service good. Pillows in room were very hard. Option of softer pillows would help. No milk in room for coffee/tea. Had to go to reception for it.
Room was very quaint and clean. shower/bath small but great water pressure. Location perfect for us.
