Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOverall it was a very pleasant experience. The center is around 10 minutes walk, passing through a residential area that at night is a bit quiet. I had no issues and didn't mind the walk but appreciate some people might.
The hotel is perfect for a few days stay. It is composed of different buildings which seem to have been houses that were adapted to be a hotel. The thing that surprised me the most was how clean and extremely well maintained the hotel is! It shows how the whole team looks after it and how they pay attention to details. Even the garden was perfect and tidy. The bathroom was newly done and the room had lots of natural light. The outdoor area is very pleasant - not only is there a lovely pool that has sun all day but also has some games you can borrow and lots of outdoor seating places with tables, chairs and benches.

United KingdomIt was all great, but maybe a little more variety at breakfast would be nice. It’s a great spread, but the same every day.
Gorgeous pool, which was never busy. The gardens were beautiful and so well maintained. Laura and all the team were incredibly helpful and attentive. Gordon the cat was an added bonus! Nice peaceful location, with a pleasant short walk to the beach and all the wonderful restaurants of Antibes.

United KingdomThe pool was very warm when we stayed but to be fair we were travelling in a really severe heatwave. The breakfast was a little disappointing and basic - we'd been dreaming of some delicious homemade croissants and pastries
The hotel honestly felt like a home away from home - much more like a friendly guest house than a hotel. It's in an incredibly quiet and peaceful location that's a complete oasis after a busy day exploring Antibes, and only a 15 minute walk into town. The gardens and pool are such a treat and a rare find in Antibes. The owners are all so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. If you're looking for a really welcoming and personal stay then I'd highly recommend you choose this place.

Saudi Arabia• No elevator, which made it harder to manage with luggage and children. • Rooms were not soundproof. • The street and gate are very tight for driving in and out—requires extra caution. • Breakfast was very limited and not worth it in our opinion. • Location-wise, this villa is in a residential area, far from the center.
• A magical, homey atmosphere—like staying in a countryside retreat. • The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. • Free parking was a nice perk. • One of the most unique and charming stays we had in the South of France.

United KingdomInternet was a bit erratic. Hotel is at least a 20 minute walk to the station. There was no corkscrew in the room!
Beautiful large traditional French Villa, converted into a hotel but retaining all the charm of a country house, and tastefully & comfortably furnished in the common areas. Breakfast is a simple French Buffet but filling, and far better than finding a local cafe at twice the price. The grounds are well kept, extremely tidy, and very quiet. Security arrangements are good and entering/exiting out-of-hours is simple. Perched on the side of a hill, the Villa is an easy 10 minute walk down to the old-town with a multitude of extremely good bars and restaurants in Antibes. Our room had its own private terrace overlooking the pool and villa gardens, which was sunny and with a good umbrella for shade. Taxi's had no problem finding the hotel and were efficient with pick-up/drop-off. Staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and friendly - and spoke fluent English.

HungaryThere is one thing, but that's really not the hosts fault and I think it was a specialty of my room as it was located on the ground floor and don't get much sun normally. So as we were having rainy weather during my stay, the room turned out to be very damp. Well I don't have any respiratory issues so it didn't bother me that way, but all of my clothes were damp when I took them away from the closet, which was not the end of the world but wasn't a convenient experience either. I think it would be a huge improvement to invest in a dehumidifier for that room. Apart from this, my stay was excellent, thank you for the experience!
Location is convenient, the whole vibe is very welcoming and warm. The garden is amazing, the interior design in the room and in the common areas as well is executed tastefully and cosy. The bed was comfortable, I like a firm mattress for me. The breakfast was pretty satisfying, I could have imagined a little bit broader choice of bakery, but otherwise it was fine. Coffee was good as well! Laura and Delphine are one of the most nice, kind and helpful hosts I've ever met, I'd return happily anytime, and I'd also recommend this to anyone
