Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location. Very closed to pharmacy, supermarket, bus, metro, mall. There are byke station in front of the hotel.

Tourists tax, no spoons and cups in the room, only paper cups and sticks.
The location is great! Close to public transport , fabulous view on Eifel Tower! Comfortable, clean.

The small room

The hotel is partly under renovation, so it looks like a building site, it smelled like burned rubber in the parking. The breakfast was good, but I had better at other Novotel hotels...
We could have early check-in at no additional cost, the location is good, there is private secured parking, the room was clean.

The baths don’t really work. we were looking for to soaking after a big day out and the water just doesn’t fill. maybe problem with plug? also didn’t like the paper cups for the coffee in the room.

Excellent hotel at a good price with breakfast. Normal spacious room with a separate toilet and bath. Cosmetics Rituals. Powerful hairdryer, pleasant staff, underground parking for 20€ per day. Varied breakfasts

The toilet was clogged and it wasn't easy to clean it up because the plastic tool was broken and didn't fit the "hole". And in the evening it was a bit cold in the room, I couldn't get the thermostat to do anything even at the maximum.
The location was great. I could just drive in with my car, my family, and all the bags and I was inside the hotel in Paris. And to get to any sightseeing location I didn't have to travel for too long. A good plus is the breakfast, we really enjoyed it. Even my kid who's allergic to a lot of things was able to find food he liked. The hostess personally brought him some soya milk.

The only downside was that when we arrived our room was still not ready. we had to wait after a long trip to get our room ready. Very strange since we could check in from 16:00, we arrived at 17:30 and still needed to wait almost an hour. after a long day in the car you can imagine we where not amused by this unpleasant surprise. the staff did not care much about this matter. It is what it is. The spacious room made up for this
if you are looking for a place to stay with your family during a trip in Paris look no further. Clean hotel just bit outside all the noice and fuzz of Paris but close enough to get an uber, taxi or even walk 3 to 4k walk downtown.

Could’ve been a bit cleaner than expected, mainly the sanitary facilities. The restaurant/bistro isn’t open from 4:30 pm - 7 pm. I wanted to have diner by 6 pm. The waitress sent us away quite rudely.
Great location. Mall within walking distance. The receptionists were nice and helpful.

Ventilation, cannot open the window. Very thin walls and doors. Whenever people walked through the corridor and spoke a bit louder it was as if they were literally in the room. No sink in the wc.
Breakfast was good, the variety of food was really good. Room was spacious and bright. The mattress and bedding were exceptional, we slept like babies. The smelies were from rituals, love it.

We had no view and not a lot of day light as we only had one small window. Also the old mattress could be changed as it wasn’t very comfortable.
The hotel has a very good location.
