Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It’s in the middle of no where
The hotel is a little far out from places it’s in the middle of a being built new area, the area itself doesn’t have much to do bar going shopping at a supermarket. But I’m sure once they build it up more there will be more to do? It was two bus rides from the ferry port to get to, but a comfortable walking distance to Caen owning that Sunday buses are every three hours!

Wifi is very poor. But I expected this after reading other review
If you are on budget, then u cant beat this place. I self checked in as arrived after 9pm. Clean comfortable room but very small. Breakfast simple(bread, cereal, coffee, juice) Free parking

Provision could be made to get an early breakfast for guests departing with an early Brittany ferries sailing. The self service food vending machine was out of order. The pillow was very small.

The auto check-in has very poor lighting so its hard to see what you are doing in the dark!
Convenient location for those coming to or from the ferry, we use this hotel regularly for a one night stop. Always clean and quiet in the room, good shower and parking easy. The price is very reasonable for what you get

The single bed are a little small and much light get in early in morning.
We stayed in the premier class Hotel in Caen for only one night as we were traveling through Normandie. The place was very practical as it was located near the road and not to far (9 minutes) from the city center by car. The rooms are ok and with space and a private bathroom. I stayed in many Premier Class before and this is by far the cleanest I have ever seen ! The crew was very nice. I recommend for short stay on the road.

It would be more helpful to know beforehand (mentioning at the website) that the property has certain hours with no staff, you cannot check in earlier. We missed a mirror outside of the bathroom and some hooks.

Automatic check in was difficult to operate. There was no info on how to check out when reception was closed sofas to leave key in the room and hope this was OK

The beds weren't made very well - sheet and duvet cover all tucked in together, so I had to remake the bed. However, I appreciate that this is a budget hotel and turnaround time is probably limited due to late check outs.
Plenty of room for three of us with a king size bed and a bunk above for our son and an en suite shower room. It was clean, tidy and comfortable and reasonably priced. Towels provided, individually wrapped plastic cups too so we could make ourselves a drink. A great stopover on our journey to/from the South West of France. We were very late checking in, so the gate was closed, but the check-in process via the electronic machine at the gate was easy, it gave us a code to open the gate and even issued our room key card. Checkout is 11am so great if you need a lie-in. All you can eat buffet breakfast for €5 is excellent value.
