Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe suite itself was significantly rundown. This may depend on the room you get. While the suite concept was charming, the TV was upstairs with the main bed, making the downstairs “living room” a boring space. The windows were difficult to close. Two mobile AC units were in the suite serving no purpose in winter and taking much space. Dust bunnies were under the bed, and the floor generally did not feel like it had been swept or mopped in a while. The sofa pull-out bed was incredibly creaky. The breakfast was okay, however offering very little choice. The staff were friendly enough, but seemed stressed out.
Great location, comfortable bed. The 2-story suite concept is charming, and the place has a lot of potential; however what we saw on the site did not match our experience.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was oversized and there is nowhere to hang towels. Bed was decent but pillows were terrible. Location was great, lots of creperies nearby.
Breakfast was ok, standard fare, the coffee was ok, it would have been nicer to have a carafe of coffee and milk. Everything else was pretty good.

United KingdomNo kettle given and especially when I have a baby, to prepare her milk and food. So I had to go to the receptionist each time for her to pour hot water. I also didn't like that there wasn't a cork stopper in the bath so no bath times for my baby and only showers.
The location is excellent! The staff were very friendly. We came by car and we were helped by the receptionist to get parking arranged without any stress or complications for additional fee. The towels get changed every day and room tidied as well. Small breakfast area in the lobby where they served us with delicious local french croissants. The courtyard was absolutely beautiful with a magnificent view. We will definitely stay again.

United KingdomWe arrived at the grubby hotel and were shown into our apartment which was dated but location was great. There was one roll of toilet roll (half used) and no tea making facilities. No minibar as advertised. We woke up the next morning to no water at all. Couldn’t even use the toilet. Went to let reception know and was told abruptly ‘yes we know, we will fix it’ no idea when so we got dressed and headed out. Was told on the way out that we could come downstairs to have a shower if we wanted, no good on our way out. We returned later that afternoon and walked into a flooded apartment. Water running from the upstairs all the way down and through. Ran to tell reception who was about to book another family in. He shrugged me off at first then said ‘ok I’ll be there’. Calm as you like, in the meantime we were worried about our possessions. We were first blamed for the flooding, then apologised to and moved to two rooms (family of four) so for three nights we were sleeping apart, one room, one adult and child. One room was so smelly; like wet dog smell, dirty shower. No toilet roll again, unbelievably noisy; work going on, knock on our door at 1am! Breakfast - no point paying as there is never enough left and when we ask for a coffee the lady picked up a brush and started cleaning before going to get it for us. We didn’t bother again but had paid for four days. Upon leaving we were told to pay tourist tax. I will be seeking a refund.

United KingdomThe bad: Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, meats, coco pops and a selection of breads, served from 7.30-10.30 (advertised) but we were told at 10am on day one that it was finished and if we were lucky enough to make it to it, they didn’t restock the breakfast ‘selection’ and there were only a handful of bowls so when we asked for a bowl to have cereal in, the lady checked to see if there was one finished on another table and washed it up! Facilities say you can get hot or cold drinks from reception included in your stay - partner asked them and receptionist walked her to the nearest corner shop so she could buy some! Asked for an iron and it was provided. Asked for a bath plug so we could actually use the bath and was questioned why we needed it (can’t you just shower instead receptionist said) then eventually they said they’d bring one up in 15 minutes….we’re still waiting for this….! A lot of the lights in the room didn’t work, the fridge was hot and dirty and parts of the wall had been touched in with white paint when the rest of the room was painted in cream. Also a grotty magazine that was covered in god knows what and a bottle of apple juice (we hoped) was still in the room which we disposed of. Loud neighbours in adjacent rooms who were inconsiderate all night Asked to leave the keycard every time we left the hotel as they only had one. I didn’t do this once as I didn’t agree with it. They had at least a second keycard as housekeeping came in and put new toilet rolls in and made beds when we were out.
We booked here as a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) so that we could visit Paris (especially the Eiffel Tower) after a few days in Disneyland. The photos on booking.com looked great and the facilities listed matched just what we wanted. However, I’m not sure what hotel most of the photos were taken from!? We were in room 18, “the suite” where the door in bashed into the first bed, then there was a single bed through an archway and finally a double bed with en suite across a small courtyard accessed only from this room. The good: Air con worked Shower was strong Hotel near underground stations

United States of AmericaAIr conditioning not working in two separate rooms, and the bathroom very small, my husband is 189cm tall and he couldn’t take a shower in the bathroom, it very tiny. Toilet doesn’t flush, toilet trees (shampoo hair conditioner not in the bathroom. It was unclean rooms. A nightmare hotel! We had notified the staff about our rooms about the problem, they couldn’t accommodate us because all rooms were taken, and since we arrived late, they gave our rooms to other guests. We informed the hotel that we had prepaid and we had notified the hotel that we would be arriving late to the hotel, the hotel had had stated that it would not be a problem. Then, we had purchased a two separate rooms, first room was two double beds with one extra twin bed room , the second room supposed to be a Kung size bed, we are total of 5 people. When we stated the the hotel staff, they couldn’t change or anything bc they gave our rooms to other people just because we arrived late due to our flight delayed with Air France. Do Not spend one penny at this hotel.
Nothing is good about this hotel, not worth a penny!
