Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwayIt was a challenge to find the hotel, as we arrived late and didn’t know this part of Nantes. The solution was a short Bolt ride with a helpful driver.
We had a comfortable stay, slept well and had an excellent breakfast. Check-in was easy, even though we arrived very late, and the instructions we received beforehand were clear and to the point. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave good advice about things to do and see in town.

FranceNothing
A small family run bed and breakfast hotel, situated near some great small food shops near the Basilica of St Donatien and St Rogatien, the ‘enfants Nantais’. The owner and her daughter couldn’t have been more helpful, breakfast was nice and everything was clean and prettily arranged. Very good value for money.

Maria was amazing and helped us with all kinds of different things. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. The location was ideal as it was near a grocery store, a laundromat, main bus stop, and the train station. A very nice hotel for a reasonable price.

Anna is a star. Location is good in that it is on a bus route C1 that takes you into the main touristy area in a few minutes. Also there is an Intermarche supermarket opposite the hotel open until late which is very helpful

SpainAll was very nice and clean, the only thing was maybe the size of the shower, but manageable without any inconvenience.
The location and mainly the staff was great, all the information and knowledge of the places to visit, transportation, etc was great to setup our 1 night visit.

United StatesIf I had to come up with something, I would say the location. Nothing wrong, but not great either.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were able to check in very early and could leave our bikes and luggage in secure storage until it was time to catch our train. Great price for value.

United Kingdomgood location as within a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral, Castle of the Ducs of Brittany and historic centre of the city. Charming owner and the whole hotel was well presented and spotlessly clean. Parking was easy too.

FranceThe walls were a bit thin so sounds could be heard from other rooms/guests. The breakfast wasn't anything special so I could see wanting to skip on that, though the convenience was nice.
I was in Nantes to visit the diplomatic archives and the location was perfect-- easy walk to the archives yet still close enough to the city center to see the sites. The hotel itself was very cozy and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. My broken French wasn't an issue as the workers all spoke perfect English. Great value for the stay and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nantes.

United StatesNo elevators on the premises. We stayed for 3 nights based on the description given in Booking.com. But the owner didnt mention that the building does not have an elevator and we got the room in the 3rd floor with a circular staircase. Taking our big suitcases was a big challenge as we were on a long trip.
Breakfast was good and simple. Great location, very friendly staff.Nice

United StatesThe welcome at the front desk was curt and officious. That may be related to the fact that I looked like something the cat had dragged in, but, just the same, I was a paying customer. It was a ways from the port. The infrastructure, though certainly not ancient, was not updated either, like noUSB ports.

FranceThe neighbours on the upperfloor were noisy between midgnight and 1.30 am. You could hear all the sounds. Because of the thin isolation you can hear all the steps from upstairs, toilet flash, shower, samefloor neighbour trying its best to be quiet but opening and closing doors after midnight.. No sleep before 3 am. I strongly suggest bringing earplugs.
Very friendly and lovely staff, very helpful.
