Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeRoom was small. For 2 people with luggages, it was tight. Toilet was small.
Location. Near metro station, lots of food options around, supermarket and boulangerie. 15-20 minutes walk to Gare de Lyon. Safe area.

TurkeyThe staff at the reception during my check-in was rude (I checked-in at 9 p.m., Feb 21st). His attitude and the way of questioning why I was there was literally unacceptable.
Location was perfect in terms of our transport needs.

United Arab EmiratesLiked the hotel just rooms bit on small side although its the way the hotel is designer so this cant be helped. Would stay again x we knew this before booking as we had looked at reviews.
Lovely area. Hotel was modern and clean. Rooms were on the small side but well decorated. Staff were helpful. And especially liked that they seemed to be sound proofed x

United KingdomNo bar for a relaxing evening drink. Lighting in room quite dull.
Clean,3 minutes walking to metro station. Good restaurants with great French restaurants at reasonable prices within 10 minute walk. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful, the young female receptionist in particular. Breakfast really nice and decently priced. The district of Rue Monge is a nice area, with prices all to suit the locals (not city of Paris prices) Anyone wanting to travel throughout Paris including CDG airport,Versailles and other outlying areas should purchase the zones one to five at CDG airport on arrival for RER train lines and Metro ,fantastic value and save you a absolute fortune for a three or five day stay. Bring a passport photograph for the pass with you from home,as the photo machines are either not working or long queue’s.

United KingdomFelt a little cramped e.g. the large shower door opening outward into the very small bathroom space do you had to manoeuvre yourself round and move the floor mat. And the lighting could do with upgrading. It was quite dark even with all the lights and the lamp on.
Great location and loved the bathroom.

CanadaStaff were fine, if not outwardly friendly. It may have been a language barrier. Busy roadway outside the hotel. No real issues.
Our room, while tiny, was on the top floor with a great view of the street and surrounding buildings. The roadway was busy with many sirens multiple times per day/night, but somehow that didn't bother us. The experience felt very authentic!

AustraliaInformation book said Breakfast was avail from 6.30am, but we were told NO NO NO from 7am. A shame as we have a tour booked that particular day. There is a small lounge area in Foyer, but no restaurant or bar in Hotel. Not that this matters with the close location of so many other choices.
BW Latin Quarter was good value hotel for the price. Room and bathroom great and modern. Proper shower not a bath with shower above. Pitty the air conditioning was not great in the very hot Paris weather. Local Metro station meters away and a quick 5 min up hill walk to a group of restaurants and bar. Laudromat, chemist all within 2 min walk. Taxi stand on next block. Very convienent location to get around Paris.

AustraliaBathrooms - doors have gaps around edges so if you’re sharing with a friend would be awkward. Cannot shower unless you hold the shower head in your hand as it was attached to wall below waist height and out bath had no plug so that was not an alternative. No bar fridge in rooms and limited facility to make tea. One staff member was particularly abrasive but others friendly and helpful.
