It was a beautiful French villa, refurbished with love by Diane and Jean-Marc. It had a pool with lovely outdoor seating areas by the river.

Jean Mark and Diane are exceptional hosts.They provided fantastic recommendations about places to visit, local restaurants and vineyards. Morning breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the Dordogne were a total joy and a fantastic way to start the day. The pool was fantastic to cool off after a day sightseeing.. our room was spacious, comfortable able and spotless. Cannot recommend YGEIA and our hosts highly enough. Would definately stay there again

Well located, comfortable. Near a river, beautiful pool. Very welcoming helpful and accommodating hosts. Great base but also just spent a couple of lounge days. Selection of areas to pass the time in and hosts happy for us to use facilities and have tea and coffee whenever. Somewhere I would go again. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was excellent, quite a spread. The breads/pastries were really good. We slept in till late as the bed was comfy. The view of the river alongside the property was simply beautiful. Jean-Marc and Diana were warm and friendly. They offered many recommendations of where to go and where to eat. A very lovely couple!

There are no words to describe how amazing the Owners of this fabulous accommodation are. We felt so comfortable in the beautiful rooms with stunning views, the best complimentary breakfast and yoghurt cake made by Jean Marc himself, nothing was a problem. Dont look any further, this is the place to stay. Thank you Diane and Jean Marc, you were amazing.

It is necessary to go out for dinner, but the village restaurant is an easy walk. Book ahead!

A beautiful old house and garden right next to the Dordogne river, breakfast served on the sunny terrace and a small pool for hot days. Comfortable and homely, best of all Jean Marc & Diana are welcoming and friendly - delightful hosts.

Nothing, everything was great.

Friendly, welcoming, accommodating and such a beautiful location. Didn’t spend as much time in the property as I would have normally due to the nature of my trip, but we were welcome to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was lovely every morning, with a great selection of things to chose from. Added bonus was meeting Fox, the true ruler of the house.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at YGEIA for a nearby wedding and would recommend staying here 100%. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained but the best thing was the wonderful hospitality. We were looked after very well with coffee and fresh pastries for breakfast and the location was perfect for us. Jean-Marc and his wife were very kind and we look forward to visiting again!
