The steps leading to the front door need urgent attention. They are very loose and very slippery in the wet. Maybe room for another armchair in the living room?

Night latches (slam locks) fitted to the internal doors on the lower ground floor were a bad idea. Resulted in us being locked out of the bathroom when our 12y.o. daughter inadvertently operated one. Best these are either removed or replaced with dead locks before a younger child is accidentally locked into one of these rooms.

Bed wasn't very comfortable (extremely bouncy!)- the lower ground king bed felt more like a double & seemed to be either 2 narrow single beds or a zip link bed . The rooms were however very tastefully decorated .

Great location. Comfortable , nicely decorated , secure and cosy. Host was accommodating and it was a nice touch leaving chocolates & prosecco.

Booking.com need to make it clear there is only one parking space. A little inconvenient when the house is for 6 guests. One of the spaces in the car park is not numbered but apparently you can't park an extra car there.

Brilliant place so clean and perfect for visiting the sites and the town.

Theres nothing we didnt like about the house. The only downside is I get taking a deposit especially with how beautiful the house is but then taking longer than 7 days to give it back when its bank transfer.

The property was fantastic, had everything that you needed and more. The little touches of Prosecco, water and chocolates were amazing. The location couldn’t of been better. The house was so clean and the beds were really comfy. The owners were quick to respond via whats app once i'd informed them my booking.com wasnt receiveing messages.

It was a very hot weekend and the windows wouldn't stay open. This was the only issue for us, everything else was amazing.

Third bedroom is very small and the double bed is a small double, ok for 2 children but as 2 adult friends who didn't want to touch feet all night we found it way too small. Worth noting that it took a full 7 days for my £250 deposit refund so take that into account when booking.

Absolutely amazing location right opposite the racecourse and short walk into town. Quality bedding and comfortable, decour clean and modern. Bathrooms very spacious and the 2 mater bedrooms also very big with lots of storage. Easy parking and access. Good communication with owner re car park and codes to get in.
