The property was lovely. It was open, beautifully decorated and welcoming. We had everything we needed (and a wonderful hostess who checked this daily!). The room was functional as well as beautiful and everything was easily accessed. We loved our stay. We felt very secure and the safe car parking was a huge bonus.

The location would be a struggle for less mobile people, no problem walking down to the town and harbour but we personally decided to use a taxi as the walk back could be steep at points. We personally felt this room was slightly small for a king room, although this did not spoil our stay.

Lovely little personal touches, fresh flowers and selection of fruit. Bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge. Great homemade bread to enjoy alongside your choice of breakfast. Free parking on site, room lovely and clean. Overall a pleasurable stay.

Nothing to dislike.

The room was beautifully set out. Bed very comfortable. Additional touches were flowers, fruit, bottles of cold water in the fridge, fresh milk and a large selection of coffee and teas to choose from. Breakfast was top rating with a good selection to choose from. Nothing was too much trouble for Anita the host. A short walk to Torre Abbey and then into Torquay made it the ideal location to stay.

The room was lovely and the bathroom was spotless and the bed was so cosy and warm we didn’t want to get up The breakfast was exceptional value and the choice was much better than many top hotels. Anita was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. If we go to Torquay again we will definitely stay at the Abbeyfield.

The shower is perfectly adequate but could be a bit more powerful.

The bottled cold water in the fridge. Lovely clean bedding and large white fluffy towels. There was enough choice on the breakfast menu even for fussy eaters. Loved the coffee machine Anita is a gem x

Breakfast was excellent, a good selection of food to suit everyone. Plus, freshly baked homemade bread! The bed was very comfortable with bed linen changed regularly. Everything was spotlessly clean, there was fruit and fresh flowers in the room. We were made very welcome.

Absolutely Nothing!

Just got home from an amazing weekend stay with my boyfriend. Anita was super welcoming and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of choice. There was plenty of parking and a short walk to the town centre. Superb B&B. Would highly recommend!
