    Very small rooms.

Clean and practical, also good value for money, parking free on site. The rooms also had a fan which was a life saver.

Overall the place is fine and the bed was comfortable and clean with good size bathroom that had hot running water. It was expected from a B&B . Location is in a nice area and easy to get into town with a lot of local buses going by. Staff were friendly and accommodating . if you looking for a nice short stay this works well .

My room was in need of some refurbishment as the balcony shelf and hooks were hanging off the wall, for example. My main complaint was that my room on the top floor got extremely hot. There was a heatwave and the window only opened a small amount and the blind did not fully close. So it was very hot in the room and difficult to sleep or spend much time in there.

The people who run this b&b are very friendly and checking in and out was easy. The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower worked very well. Overall I felt safe here. The location is nice in Summertown, close to shops and about 40 mins walk into Oxford center.

Room was small, the beds weren’t the most comfortable and breakfast very basic. Woke up after a very restless night, hungry with options of cereal and toast - wasn’t most satisfying.

Location was close to town for what we needed, but not too close making it easy to access and travel in and out of Oxford

The rooms and facade could do with updating from a decor point of view but you get what you pay for. I was not expecting the Ritz so I am not complaining.

Communications with Guest House staff was good. It was easy to find and (free) parking was available at the front (two spaces were available). We checked in at 12noon and checked out at the same time the next day. It takes about 25-30 mins to walk into the centre of Oxford from the Guest House. It's a long(ish) way but beats having to run the gauntlet of Zero Emission Zones and city centre car parks. From a location point of view therefore it wins top marks. The Guest House itself is a little tired looking but the rooms were clean enough. In terms of value for money it is great, especially given it included parking and breakfast. We did not sample the breakfast as we were too full from the previous night's meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I would rate this Guest House as good. Great location and good value for money.

Booked the place because breakfast sounded appealing but turned out to be a very basic continental breakfast. Property was old and bed not very comfortable though the room was quiet as it faced away from the busy road.

Location was convenient. A bus ride into town took less than 15 minutes, and the owners kindly allowed us to leave car in the driveway after check-out for half a day. There were 2 parking spaces in front of the B&B so parking could potentially become a problem during peak times.

My room a bit of a fusty smell. The window was a skylight, so no view outside. The towels couldn’t dry, and they weren’t changed.

Summertown shops area is great. The breakfast was better than expected, and they left fruit out all day. The staff were all friendly. My room was the cheapest, and small, but had everything I needed (towels, kettle, tele, refreshed the coffee and tea).

Host wouldn’t accommodate an early breakfast, so wouldn’t do me a cooked breakfast. Host said they didn’t get up until 7.30am, I had to leave by 7am. I was able to have cereals dry, no milk to put on them also no kettle to make a hot drink, no bread to make toast. Host husband did get up 10 minutes before I had to leave and made me a coffee. Should advertise there breakfast times incase other clients want an early breakfast.

There might be some small comment, but it would be so insignificant that there is no point in even mentioning it.

Breakfast was tasty, the choice of toppings was satisfying. The location was ideal for my trip. The beds were quite comfortable, but the most important thing was the silence.

Maybe slightly more choice of cooked breakfast, however the fried egg was nice. Notification on the notice board of a local reliable taxi firm would have helped too.

All good thanks. Staff friendly and facilities good even though it is an old style guest house. However, I noticed an electric charging point and had I known this and terms of use, I would have travelled by EV. Great central location. Only 2 parking spaces but was lucky enough to use one. I would have paid extra to book the one near the charge point.

The room was a little dusty on unused surfaces, and I had trouble fully closing the blind. However this did not impact my stay.

The property was in the ideal location for me, only a 15 minute bus journey to Oxford city centre. I was able to park at the front of the property as there was a free space, however on a busier night this may have not been possible. The bed was comfy and I enjoyed the tea and coffee making facilities. The host was welcoming and I had a good choice of continental breakfast options in the morning.

The place is a little tired. The coffeemaker used instant coffee, breakfast was somewhat wanting. Parking is on an adjacent street and uses a temporary permit. It took some doing to find a spot.

The owner was very nice. The B&B was close to amenities and only 2 miles to city centre (on a bus route, as well)

The room we had was very tired and has had a hard life. It was clean but the decoration is in a poor state. I am sure this will improve as they continue to update the property.

The location made it easy for us to get into the centre of Oxford. The staff were pleasant and hard working and they are obviously investing heavily in updating the property.
