United KingdomIf I was being picky, I would say that the rooms could maybe do with a refurb. They're a bit dated, but clean, comfortable & all the amenities that you would expect.
The overall experience of my stay was very good, from the ease at booking in, right through to me leaving, it was a very welcoming place. I had the full English breakfast the next morning & I have to say, it really was 1, if not, the best I've had whilst on my travels. I did compliment the chef, as I thought it deserved recognition.

United KingdomA little tired in some of the rooms but it’s clear they have done a lot of refurbishment and are continuing to update the hotel. Our bathroom was clearly brand new and very nice. Unfortunately the pool was being refurbished also at the time of our stay. There was no mention of this on booking.com or on the website.
The hotel is in a good location for travelling into the city (we stayed for work). But is far enough out to enjoy some peace and quiet. There was no noise at night. The hotel garden also backs into fields so has a nice view. We ate some of the tapas kind of plates in the restaurant and were impressed by the quality, the meat is from a local butcher. All the staff at the hotel were really friendly, helpful and accommodating, excellent customer service.

United Kingdom1 of our rooms was basic but perfect (standard room) for me and my wife - the more expensive (3 older kids) was just amazing- huge beds and a lovely sofa Great bar and pool (didn’t use pool) - we didn’t eat but see they put a lot of effort into the menu for guests- staff were lovely and super helpful Would (will for sure) stay again 🥂

Attention to detail was missing, could do with more extras for the money paid, No information pack in room, No phone for room service. United KingdomUnfortunately our room no.4 needed a deep clean and updating, the bathroom was tired as was the carpet in the room. The bathroom door needs fixing as it didn’t close properly. We found the twin beds uncomfortable and hard. The decor was underwhelming and there was a constant hum coming from somewhere, maybe the pool. I felt the cost of the room £104 per night not including breakfast was too expensive for the condition of the accommodation. Yet again another place that fails to pay attention to detail and check weather the cleanliness is up to standard. If you're not going to refurbish your rooms then the least you can do is make sure it's spotlessly clean.
Badger's Mount is a nice place close to all amenities. We were going to a party in Hinckley just 10mins drive away. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. If you are staying with children the pool is a great addition. The restaurant and bar looked nice although we didn't eat or drink there.
