Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our room was so small and uncomfortable, close to entrance of hotel and noisy.
Excellent location, very close to lot of attractions (by foot), Victoria coach and train station.. The staff was very kind and halpful.

The room was abit stuffy and hot but there was a fan in the room so that was helpful. Outside temperature was high too though and also very stuffy so understandable.
Excellent location for tourist hotspots and transport links.

The room itself was very hot there was no air conditioning with only a small fan running which did not cool anything off sleeping was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was just okay.
Location was close to many of the sites that we wanted to see.

Double bed was smaller than we anticipated. Room was also extremely hot. It was approx 30degree weather in London that weekend but even with windows open, Room retained the heat. The fan was on but unfortunately not very powerful. Imagine this mightnt be an issue in cooler months but slightly more powerful air-conditioning could be beneficial for warm summer months.
Fantastic location. Close to everything. Clean and nice that it was a smaller hotel. Breakfast provided was continental and had options

The room was dirty with marks up the wall, doors, legs of the table, the chair and the bedding had stains on it. Breakfast was served between 8-9 which wasn’t any use for us as we had to be out by 7.15am.

Lack of storage for toiletries in ensuite.
Good location, room very clean but compact but this didn't bother us as we were just there for 4 nights. Friendly staff. Maybe more storage but overall very positive. Would definitely consider returning when visiting London.

The only issue is the tiny size of the room--understandable in a big city like London!
The young man at the reception desk when we arrived was great! Very welcoming! The rooms are small, however, the wonderful location more than makes up for this! Breakfast is self-serve, and was actually very good. A variety of muffins, buns, toast. 4 different cold cereals. A hot drink machine. Yogurt, cheese, salami. All well maintained by a woman who just quietly did her job. Daily housekeeping done as well.

Very good location, about the room I expected a double bed only, not another single bed. What about a fridge which was inexistant in the room to keep some cold drinks. Otherwise it was okay

There was a bit of confusion over what room we had booked on checking in. The problem was solved but we had to stand there whilst calls were made to other staff members. The bathroom is very small.
Lovely location. Really close to Victoria coach park and train station. Few little bits local Room came with fresh towels which was a little unexpected bonus. 24 hour entry also a bonus

2nd night we didnt have any heating in the room, it was extremely cold!!! Breakfast was very limited! Hochland cheese slices... butter and jam... extremely basic bread... its a very limited breakfast overall, nothing cooked. Not even boiled eggs, no english breakfast... If you have large luggages there is no way you fit comfortably up the stairs. Keep in mind.
The place was clean Location is 10mins walking distance to Victoria station, that has a lot of connections First night the staff was kind enough so we had good room temperature Shower was decent, no complaints

Bathroom had areas which looked grubby and could have been cleaned better. Bathroom was very small with little room to manoeuvre.
Staff were really helpful, bed was super comfy and all linen clean and fresh.
