Having to leave....

The location was pefect for us as we had travelled down from Cumbria to see family. The cottage was perfectly situated for us to see friends and family in Horsforth, Pudsey, Headingley and beyond. As per the description, it was cosy, comfortable, and very pet friendly - our two dogs loved it. The cottage has a courtyard which is fenced in and completely secure and we were able to let them out knowing they were safe. Our Cavapoo, Lucy had a great time with the owners Cocker Spaniel, Maggie and was sad when we had to leave.

The Cottage was warm, comfortable, clean and cosy! Exactly what we needed after a long, tiring journey. It's a beautiful old building and has exposed beams in the upstairs bedroom. It's sited in the midst of fields on the outskirts of Leeds, very pretty. We had two small dogs with us and we were able to find a nice footpath through the fields, five minutes away, leading to nearby woods to walk them.

Long way upstairs to the bathroom from the smaller bedroom, shower wasn't very powerful, kitchen was dark due to the wall outside the window, small yard wasn't secure enough to allow my small dog to go out without a leash but all good and would definitely stay again knowing what to expect. None of the above have put me off!

That we only stayed one night! We could have quite happily stayed a week!

The cottage is the perfect location! Easy to find and get to without having to navigate the busy city centre, and super easy to get to and from the city centre with an Uber without it costing a fortune! Very easy to find by car as sometimes this isn't the case. Its super cosy, very warm and welcoming, the lady that greeted us was lovely and the highlight for us was being greeted by the 2 gorgeous puppies in the yard (but they are gated separately incase anyone is nervous of dogs!). The beds were extremely comfortable, all the facilities you could need, and the general layout and decor is beautiful! We will likely stay here every time we visit leeds or Castleford from now on!

We were in shock when we opened the door. Everything was spotless, and looking amazing. Appartantment we stayed in was really spacious. Decorated in a good style.

Spacious, well equipped cottage. Very helpful host with a hospitable Yorkshire welcome with tea, milk and biscuits. Rooms are much larger than the pictures on the website. Good heating system which kept us very cosy. Nice kitchen with dining area. Rural location with nice walks to local park and woods and only 10 mins drive to Central Leeds.
