United KingdomIt was a shame that lots of areas were under construction and the balcony/terrace out of our room had no proper roof it was wooden beams exposed and off the drop of our balcony was pieces of wood with nails sticking out and lots of rubble.
The views of the lake were brilliants, room was very cosy and comfy. Brilliant Spa facilities and all around the hotel was very clean.

United KingdomWe were in one of the Snug rooms(No.2), with a view of Windermere, stunning. On booking and check-in not once where we told there was renovation going on in hotel!! Room No.1 Next door was being used a storeroom by workmen, also the car park was restricted due to storage of equipment ie hot tubs, etc. Also the website is out of date, there is no restaurant now, and spa area was completely different.
Hotel was excellent, good position, views where stunning. Staff friendly, facilities where good, although no restaurant as stated on hotel website..!!

United KingdomWe was in room 91, which is on the top floor. This became very hot throughout the day and mostly at night too. This became an issue when we bought drinks from the shop as there was no fridge in the rooms which I’ve never experienced before. Every hotel we have previously stayed in has a fridge so our drinks were very hot and snacks like chocolate were just melting. There just didn’t seem any time it seemed cool. Also the fire alarm went off every single morning throughout our stay at about 8:30am which was quite frightening and became annoying every morning. But above all we was pleasantly happy with our stay and will return to you.
The rooms were lovely and the views were exceptional. The staff greeted us well on arrival and throughout our stay here. The hotel was very clean and modern. We really enjoyed the spa.

United KingdomBuilding work going on which we didn’t know about, builders in the spa and also outside our room, The hotel is located 10 min drive to Bowness but you can’t get a taxi and you can’t walk there so be prepared for someone to drive if wanting to go out in the evening.

United KingdomAs mentioned it wasn’t a dislike and people have to understand that work needs doing to modernise and improve for the greater good. The place is amazing. The Reception and Restaurant are exceptional. The Food was lovely but expensive and the drinks are too.
The Property was Fantastic apart from the ongoing work which didn’t disturb our stay apart from some issues with the WIFI connection.
